Having a look at their website, they charge a transaction fee of 3.95% for every transaction PLUS up to 2.95% on top of that for 'indemnity insurance' plus you are still liable for any applicable credit card charges. So not exactly cheap.

I'm pretty sure a transaction fee of 3.95% is also above what is allowed under the new financial regulations that were supposed to reduce exorbitant merchant fees.

I think that law was for retailers not merchant suppliers, my understanding was it is ileagal to charge more than what the merchant supplier charges, usually you see retailers charge more for american express because they charge it. Sounds like they are gouging to me but within the laws.

I’d never find it comfortable to use an app for service payments. If it was to become a standard in the future I’ll go and invest in a Fleshlight instead.

I’m only posting this as it’s stated that 24/7 billing is accepting of the SW industry and I saw it pop up on my Instagram and thought maybe some people on here might find it useful, that’s all

Beemit is definitely a popular financial choice within the industry but I personally haven’t seen anything in writing that they are accepting of the SW industry utilising their app!
