Suspended Products.Imagine that..Helping The Homeless

I saw this on FB this morning. If there are suspended products in Perth I wish to purchase some. And before anyone jokes about it, I'll beat you to it. I don't think there will be suspended punts.....

Have a look below.....

"We enter a little coffeehouse with a friend of mine and give our order. While we’re approaching our table two people come in and they go to the counter:

‘Five coffees, please. Two of them for us and three suspended’ They pay for their order, take the two and leave.

I ask my friend: “What are those ‘suspended’ coffees?”
My friend: “Wait for it and you will see.”

Some more people enter. Two girls ask for one coffee each, pay and go. The next order was for seven coffees and it was made by three lawyers - three for them and four ‘suspended’. While I still wonder what’s the deal with those ‘suspended’ coffees I enjoy the sunny weather and the beautiful view towards the square in front of the café. Suddenly a man dressed in shabby clothes who looks like a beggar comes in through the door and kindly asks
‘Do you have any suspended coffee?’

It’s simple - people pay in advance for a coffee meant for someone who can not afford a warm beverage. The tradition with the suspended coffees started in Naples, but it has spread all over the world and in some places you can order not only a suspended coffee, but also a sandwich or a whole meal.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have such cafés or even grocery stores in every town where the less fortunate will find hope and support? If you own a business why don’t you offer it to your clients… I am sure many of them will like it.

That is a really nice little way of spreading your good fortune without being flashy I like that Yoda
But why were you on FB? Our friend Farm Boy may have more secrets than I thought You too, for that matter Yoda :)

FB our ol mate FB? Surely you have not forgotten FarmBoy already? Although his pa FB2 is in the forum now

And again why was you on him? Or is that a secret

Sorry Yoda I am not a Face Book fan Know to little about it I know my Niece has 100's of friends on FB compared to my 3 or so in real life But I have spoken to all of mine
And can rely on them

I am old fashioned about balance I am still a meat pie and sauce in one hand and a Cold can of beer in the tother

The only problem I can see with this working in Perth is the shops wont want the homeless types hanging around to drink their coffees. Great idea and hope it takes off here too

Unfortunately you are right about that sparky
There is Buckley' s chance of Australia's coffee shops allowing homeless in their stores

thank you Desire But to be honest Vegetarianism is not my cup of tea But I am glad to see it is still going
I wonder how many of our financial elite eat there as well instead of just the ordinary folk and the needy

Vegetarian is cave man lingo for Bad Hunter

LOL, well yeah that makes sense. I don't mind being a bad hunter though. :p
I'm not a vegetarian, but I do enjoy vegetarian food more than meat. And I like variety!

I really hope we can get a few of the Perth cafes onto this!!! Wouldn't be that hard I don't think, just have to ask the right ones I guess. I know of a few who would probably love this idea, wouldn't be surprised if they've already got onto it.

So frickin excited!!! Huzzah!!! There's one down the road from Langtrees!

Would any kind soul be generous enough to offer a poor ol farmer a suspended offer at LT's
Or does generosity stop at a coffee and a warm meal

Ahoy, Hmmmmm
Personally i was thinking of getting a LT Girl and then;- she can pour the Rum down my Throat
Cheers and PASS the Rum

I will give you a pass HP Though it wasn't your finest riposte
As for the whole suspended idea I guess the shops need to no that it will mean more money for them and that it can be done without losing trade
I mean some stores may lose custom if truly smelly down and outers tried to abuse the system
