Is there a way this rubbish can be hidden from when clicking on New posts ?
I notice that if you're not logged in and click on the link, you don't see the contents of the Start Here Say hello to Activate your Membership forum, however logged in users get to see all the spam.
Here is my proposal to fix this issue (you can pick one)
1. Stop the need for users to post x number of times before getting full access
2. Direct the user to a specific single thread and tell them to spam inside that one place
3. Exclude threads in the Start Here Say hello to Activate your Membership forum from being displayed when clicking on the "New posts" link
This forum is becoming a spammers paradise, full of new users who just post numerous times to get their post count up high enough to read and then never post again. Then you get the paid posters who's job is to make the spammers 'feel welcome' by replying to the spam threads. The problem is that once a paid staff member goes through replying to all the newbies it doesn't stop there. A few days later another staff member goes and ads their two cents (a useless hello GIF) to all the posts they haven't replied to and bumps the threads back up.
