Yes I needed more clarification on how I am not a grinch I thought but I went to bed. I don't spoil other people spending money. But yes if I was paying for the lights to run I'd object probably. If someone wants to pay for the celebration, great I'll participate it's just if I'm paying for it. Don't get me wrong I'm not an every dollar guy that the tradies complain about. I'm not gonna refuse to have christmas lights on at $5 a quarter year. I do donate $$$ to charity but in the hope it comes back to me ten fold sort of thing.

So the diagnosis is in: you're not a Grinch. You're an accountant with seasonal allergies. You'll happily enjoy Christmas... as long as someone else picks up the tab 🤷‍♀️

Are you the feds? I saw on a prison documentary that some guy killed his entire family as he believed he was doing them a favour releasing them from a cruel world. But no there has to be rules such as no murdering people. What a disturbing post this may be.
