Still no influx of chinese wl's?

I was wondering if anyone in the know would be able to shed some light on why there still seems to be no increase in Chinese wl's after the Chinese borders have opened?

I started punting in early 2019 when there was still a steady stream of gorgeous Chinese girls coming to Perth on short term stays working (rfc, cocos etc). Back then the standard price was 130-30 200-60 or maybe slightly more, as we all know the standard has become around 400-500 an hour or more from the same providers. I hate to sound cheap but these prices don't allow me to see the girls regularly so I haven't really entertained it.

As far as I'm aware the borders are pretty open now apart from needing a pcr test before getting on a flight.
I thought after these few years of being heavily closed off there would be a real hunger from the girls to work, but if there something I am missing regarding any difficulties getting into Australia it would be interesting to know.

Some of the girls working before the pandemic were also attending the dodgy English language colleges and as these colleges relied on the fees paid by the international students, a lot went bankrupt and closed down for good. Chinese students who studied at university and went back home during the pandemic were allowed to leave China in early February, but wouldn't have been able to secure a student visa before universities recommenced at the end of February. Also getting a student visa requires quite a few hoops to get through - the biggest being having an international bank transfer in $AUD paid to an Australian bank to cover your living expenses for the first 12 months of your study plus paying your first year of tuition too. There might be a few more coming back in July, although Universities Australia have stated that pre-pandemic numbers of international students will not return until end of 2024.

That makes a fair amount of sense about the English language colleges going under during the pandemic, I still would have thought there would be more arrivals on tourist visas though, that seemed to be what many of the girls working for these crews were using (as they were here pretty short term).

Most are going back for holidays to see their family, they haven’t been able to go for the past 3 years. I wouldn’t hold my breath for anything new just yet, if anything there is less ladies available now than before.

Yep, there is a lot of rotation happening to cover the shops. I know some are doing 6 different shops in a week... They can show up prctically anywhere right now. Just dont expect the same name.... :):)

There's been an influx of young Jap ladies in brothels and AMPs in Sydney over the past 6 months or so. More are being brought over here but unfortunately mainly through high priced outlets like Phoenix Court (they had 7 jap girls available recently), lilibabe and seduceyou that charge $450 to $500 ph compared with around $300 ph for similar ladies with the same level of services. If Foxys, Hanys and the Joondalup outfit could tap into that market I'm sure they and us punters would do well.

A lot are going home to see family and some are going interstate or to another country with more money on offer. They will come when they want to go to Uni.

Murdoch Uni has the highest intake of international students this year. I'm studying full-time post grad there. My classes have gone from 20-30 to now 175. The course coordinator is saying that the numbers will increase even more second semester. Right now, there isn't any Chinese Nationals in any of my classes.... Maybe Sem 2?
Why no Chinese - the uni's have diversified intake countries.

The Chinese Government were late to the party in allowing its citizens to recommence face to face learning, only allowing them to leave China in early February - so getting a new student visa in time to recommence semester 1 was problematic. Maybe semester 2 you might see some Chinese nationals in your class.

Now that there are direct flights from Manila to Perth, perhaps we will see some more Philippinos who have always been quite rare in the punting game.

But in Hong Kong they are the mainstay of all sex work !

Maids and sex workers (and one suspects sometimes both !).
