Ohh man... on a cold winter's night when it's only 2° and the doona ain't doin' its job right...

Anything from healthy skinny (below) to all of those pics above do if for me provided they are accompanied by an equally intelligent, fun and sexy personality.

Nice skinny

Poor young Rochelle
Nobody loves you, I will have to go slim and toned
Just for you

Rochie is the standard that all the above strive for but if you want to go slim and toned, alas you won't be competion for her but you may just make the swanbourne calendar playmate of the month. Happy December :P

So with these two showing page after page and catwalk after catwalk of skinny girls, these must be an impact on young girls. - and anorexia, etc., is one of the results.

I do admit that there are other factors too.

Agreed, what gets me is that there is so little education on what healthy eating actually looks like. If you have kids with obese parents they don't have much hope of breaking that cycle except for with eating disorders :/. I can't imagine a kid turning around and requesting healthier meals from their parents if they're brought up on crap and don't know any better.

One more from me for the road - This lady single handily caused more deforestation of the planet through the 70's and early 80's, by causing a major need for more tissue and toilet papers

The one, the only

This is a great post, thanks for sharing! I'm a curvy girl (size 10-12), who will most probably never be skinny (only because skinny vs custard creams... No contest!).

Being female, I've done the obligatory self-annihilation of all my wobbly bits and wished I'd wake up one day looking like the ladies in the magazines (when, in all truth, the ladies in the magazines don't look like the ladies in the magazines!!). I'm grateful to our industry, specifically the beautiful clients and supportive ladies, for making me think actually curves are a good thing. It's a big confidence boost when clients compliment your figure or you read reviews of yourself saying, "mesmerising body" or "wow - great tits and bum"! So thanks guys! And thanks to the sex industry!

*increase the peace!*
:)

hang on bree.. are we talking genuine "curvy"
here ?
a genuine size 10-12 as opposed to those that wish they were is hardly curvy by perth standards more slim
I find ladys dont start descibing themselves as curvy/bbw until size 16 and up

See this is where I get confused, my man of the bush friend! I would describe myself as curvy, definitely not slim, and probably not fat (on a good day anyway - I'm still female!). I'm a genuine size 10 on bottom and 12 on top (big boobs and bum, reasonable waist so hourglass-ish - if you see my photo to me I'm curvy, and to say slim would be misleading to potential clients; I interpret 'slim' as 'athletic'). I think women and men might have different definitions, or maybe definitions change over time depending on fashion/current trends? (Eg heroin-chic slim of the nineties vs 'slim' of now?) I'm confused.... !! X x

I'm now thinking clients reading my ads online have been expecting a massive lardarse to rock up to meet them!! Maybe this will work in my favour though - better than overselling then disappointing! Haha!

if I see curvy or d tits advertised you can be garanteed they actually mean .... I wear a 4 man tent for a dress.
slim does definitely not mean athletic either

all too hard sometimes :)

dont forget I lie like all hell in my adds. its just got to be plausible

Slim petite - not much boobs and a small butt.
Slim busty - slim arms and legs, with big boobs and still no butt.
Slim curvy - slim arms and legs, with big boobs and a nice curvy butt to match
????
I dunno....how's that sound.

I'm in fits laughing at your posts Bush Man! What an eye opener all this is! I'm going to have to look through some other ads to see what people actually write!

Better ask the Bush Man - I'm in awe at his marketing genius!

I'd like to know how you'd describe in between girls though, like Kelly Brooke or Nigella Lawson - to me neither are fat or slim, but, well, curvy, only that in our industry can mean fat!? Aaaaaahhhh confused again!! X

Classically curvaceous for sure. Still has slim arms and legs though, so slim curvy I guess.
But a 'slim, busty girl, with a classic hour glass figure' sounds better to me.

I think you're right, the definitions that people have to what's slim, curvy, skinny or over weight is subjective so I don't know there's any real way to describe it accurately other than to provide a point of reference such as model's photo's of each category then describe where you fit in, in relation to them. You're version of curvy is great by the way!! ;)
