hi hi everybody, sorry for my sudden disappearance from the forum 2 weeks ago but I had another one of my mishaps.
Just 10 months after my last one I managed to get myself into hospital again....this a bit longer and with a bit different consequences than an arm in a sling and a brace around my knee.
However the good news is that I am ok and according to the doctors recover nicely.
When I am cleared to get back to work is still a bit of a question mark depending on a few things which are not all under my control. But I hope I know more during this week.
The good thing is that I am now back on the forum again. ;)

So I hope all you guys are good and are about to have a great Aussie Day.

But Johnlou Only problem with your bubble wrap solution The bit that got damaged is still totally uncovered

hehehehehe so true.....even with my knee in brace I moved around. This time it was more efficient regarding the sit still part.......at least for the first week. I wouldn't say I am up and running again but I am definitely up and doing pretty much most of what I used to do before the incident......only a lot better and far more considerate. Guess you could call that "growing up" :arghh:

I am at the VIP Lounge Canberra
- its been lovely here .... It is really a 6 STAR venue, do try to
have a stint here once you are able to come back to work.... It is amazing and you will LOVE it!

Hi Didi, how are you? I think I scared a few people and most of all myself. So I am on best behaviour, do everything the doctors say and don't rush things as I usually do. I bet you love it in Canberra. When are you back in Perth?
Yes, I guess I will have a stint there as well. I heard so many stories about Canberra. Mary Anne mentioned it in one of her posts as well. All step by step.....first the forum than back to work in Perth than Canberra.

Get well soon. I know how u feel. After 7 dislocated shoulders in a period of 10 years i finally had an operation to screw the bloody thing in. Take care of yourself and get lots of rest xox
