I find it non-sensical that we can laud (adulate) a thug like Read in Aust, but denigrate someone like Andrew Forrest for having the temerity to donate a large wad to the UWA!
 
My point exactly johnlou...we can be a strange people at times...no wonder we have had movies like 'They're a weird mob'.
 
I wonder why we do like Or make hero's of the wrong people

Many people still say poor ol bondy But he ruined the retirements of thousands and is still moderately comfortable to this day

yes, I agree. What is there to say...........a life, a life story, a controvery, not the first one and not the last one.......agree not agree it will happen again and again and again.

Hi H2.........if the media wouldn't have picked it up and turned into a 'seller' hardly anybody would know about it.
We don't make heros.....the media creates them and they look at it from a purely financial aspect.
