Hi,

Amanda O wrote a great blog about scammers in the sex industry and a recent post on here was full of warnings for a ts member thinking about paying a deposit to see a super hot sex worker advertising on Escorts & Babes.

Has anyone had any positive experiences of a great booking that they paid a deposit to secure?

I think there are times that charging a deposit is justified to prevent the time wasters who make fake bookings or the no shows. Answering those calls and texts and making the booking is unseen work that helps create the magic in the bedroom, a fake booking or a no show stops a real client from getting that slot. The ladies who work in house have a chance to make that fake booking up with clients coming in to their workplace, private ladies don't have that option and rely on bookings.

A no show or a fake booking is like stealing, sex work is a costly - the shift fees if a lady works in house, the rent or accommodation costs if she works privately, the advertising costs and then there is the time it takes to get ready for the client that simply doesn't show.

It is stealing from clients when a scammer sex worker takes a deposit and is running a fake profile or books then doesn't show up or gives a fake address or used fake photo's.

Does anyone have any positive experiences to share where paying a deposit has ended in a fantastic booking? Is charging a deposit ever justified or is it simply too much of a risk for potential punters?

Interesting from your side of the fence.
What happens when the punter drives for 30mins ,arrives at said property , and the lady opening the door is nothing like as advertises , or the lady wont do as agreed , does not like the customer and gives a bad job etc etc.
Does the punter ever get compensated?? Never happens.
All the false advertising is criminal, it would be scary if all the guys on here got compensated for wasting a hour drive, and a ruined morning or afternoon .
It would be great if the lady deposited money to the punter to show they are genuine !!!!
 
Paying a deposit is financially risky behaviour and should be avoided. Clients also can also lose valuable time and effort when working ladies do not keep booking commitments or has provided false or misleading information about the lady or her services.. So if deposits are deemed acceptable to counter clients not showing up then surely it should work the other way round so clients can charge deposits to counter working ladies ghosting or not keeping booking commitments. There are platforms such as escrow which enable dual deposits.

Pussy have the power mate, they have what you are willing to pay for, not the other way around.
Good luck getting tradies and gardeners and other services providers to pay you a deposit before they come and cut your lawn of fix your power issues, they would laugh and hang up on you.

Yeah. This is ideal, but not going to happen. If an establishment/person has the intention to scam then they won’t go to those transactions that would set them up for accountability.

I agree with the sentiments, I have loss valuable time and effort with flaky bookings.
 
I work on reception at Langtrees, all our ladies use genuine photo's and they look like their photo's... no old pics or heavily photo-shopped images to disappoint punters.

I'm sorry to read that there are sex workers and establishments that scam... such a pointless and disappointing waste of time.

Seriously, maybe pussy has power over you but some of us have grey matter. You obviously don't understand analogies. The point is do not pay deposits. Most providers do not ask for deposits.

Yes whether it is the punter or wl that don't do the right thing it is the nature of the game, what we call the costs of doing business. What we can and should to is avoid wl's that want deposits. It will never happen though as there are simps out there that go further and give there ID as well.

I absolutely understand analogies, hence the comparison with other industries.
The sex industry is shady business, always have been and probably always will be, and it is not perfect, nothing is. Any industry has something to whinge and complain about, something that could be better. In my opinion, anybody that deal in that industry, being a punter or a provider, knows this and should be prepared for disappointments along the way.
I totally get your point as well as I get Celeste's point, and if you don't want to pay a working lady a deposit then don't, I would never pay a deposit either, there are plenty of WL out there that doesn't require a deposit. Working ladies are entitled to ask for a deposit but can potentially be missing out of some genuine punters, and punters can refuse to pay a deposit and potentially miss out on an amazing experience with a fantastic working lady, that's the chance you take dealing in this industry.
My main point is that for punters to be able to expect a deposit from a working lady is, in my opinion, completely preposterous and laughable.
Again, just my 10 cents worth (I guess it's up to 20 now..

Never never never pay a deposit.

Think about it, if any other service provider in any other industry was using a fake name, a fake age, and most likely a fake or at least blurred out photo, it would be a no brainer. You'd never give a deposit to an anonymous person. Why? Because there is no recourse if they decide to run off with the money. At least in other service industries you have an ABN to work with or a way to identify the person who ripped you off and deal with it through the system.

In the sex industry, all the power lies with the provider. You have zero recourse if they decide to take your deposit.
 
Nope, never, sorry, won't ever nor do I recommend paying a deposit for anything other than a Car/House......

Still might get scammed. Make a gentlemans deal for a deposit and next thing you know they are saying you have to pay the taxes too.
