Sex addiction

I think there is a fine line between a healthy desire for sex and sex 'addiction'. I'd hate to count the number of times a day I think about sex/a sexual activity etc. And yes I follow my dreams as often as possible :-) Perhaps more context from the ABC article would help. Maybe the poor guy was in a sexless marriage or the sex was 'Mills & Boon' and he was more a Thunderstruck kind of guy. Nothing wrong with him finding satisfaction elsewhere if his wife had a permanent headache (or a real medical reason to avoid sex?) When is too much libido an addiction?

Well said mrys
Unfortunately you’re not going to receive unbiased context from the abc.

Fully agree. I suppose if he left home with balls empty, like Kyle S said, then he wouldn't have had the need to cheat. Sometimes I wonder why some wives are shocked their husbands cheat when they know there is a sexless marriage. And it's not as though women don't know that men need sex. It's said that ejaculation is like urination for a man. When he needs to go, he needs to go!!

Well I've been totally honest with my partner, she has no interest in intimacy anymore, I'm continually seeking it.

I've been very open with fact I need intimacy and sex. It's been discussed numerous times.
It's something that should be a natural want in any relationship.
Apprenty we get one go at life, so I'm not about to waste mine.
We share a house and friendship. I satisfy my needs with others who I find an attraction.

I hear you mate. Was in a similar situation. She was only into it once in 2 or 3 months. I brought it up, she told me to use my hands.
