Selfies or Photoshoots...Which is better?

Hello members. ......

Having seen that since our forum have been graced with the presence of a lot of ladies.....photos have exploded all over our pages for various reasons.

I guess I am not alone in thinking that is a wonderful thing.

Here's a question I have wanted to ask for a while though. Do you prefer tge professional photoshoots that bring out the best with photo shopping to follow? Or do you lie the simple selfies and camera phone images that are getting more frequent that where what you see is what you get?


I myself like the natural photos. To me its like listening to a musician sing live.


I'd love to hear what everyone else thinks........

If you know a little bit about lighting,take a little time experimenting in shape and positioning off the human body you can take wonderful selfies

Will agree on the natural, however a bit if a hint on the face might be an idea
 
Yes Natural no face is fine but I do seek a pic that acuratly shows the body .
ie no face only. no ass shot no tit shot.
alot of ladys are as bad as guys with the cock shot
 
As someone who likes photography as a hobby, I enjoy both. I enjoy doing self portait photography which is less "selfie" looking, and sometimes I enjoy regular selfie taking.

In most cases, I think the selfie culture creates a climate that women or men even can express themselves, and explore positive body image. To have people being able to take photos of themselves and feel proud and happy in their skin is a beautiful thing...

When I take photos of others I like to leave it as natural as possible, I like to use natural lighting, and play with light and shadows. I don't have a big bag of tricks. I have a keen interest in photographing in a way that captures and showcases what is there and beneath.
 
i prefer the natural selfie . if i wanted a photoshop pic of a lady i would purchase a playboy mag :-)
 
Would that be why some don't trust the expensive processed photo shoots?

What if profiles was made of selfies that can't hide much?

Would that be a good or bad thing?
