Self service...

Self service, who enjoys doing it themselves or is it much better if you have somebody help or do all the work for you?

I don`t mean the art of pleasing yourself but if its self service at the supermarkets, service station or these days even at the airport.
Are we taking someones job? Should we get discount if we do it ourselves?

I miss the days when someone would check my tyre pressure or if I had enough oil in the car.

Ahoy;- I always line up at Supermarkets and I walk into banks as much as possible, I do this because I do not wish to see these services disappear.

Self service at shops pisses me off especially at bunnings when i have heaps of heavy messy crap, they put even less check outs on now to force you into these self service checkouts.

Although goods do seem to be a lot cheaper through these types of checkouts.

1 or 2 items dont mind going thru the self service , but trolley load of goods i'll go for nearedt checkout chick so i can perve on her tight fitting blouse

I love self service. I always wanted to be a check out chick, but unfortunately self service does not like me. I always get the "unexpected item in the bagging area" screen... THERES NO FUCKING UNEXPECTED ITEM!

apparently they are pretty much purpose built to not have to pay

I know I should be more considerate of how self service impacts on jobs but sometimes I just don't want to have to repack all my shopping because the check out chick (or is it more pc to refer to them as customer service representatives these days???) has put all the heavy items in the one bag. I mean come on, it's not rocket surgery!

Yeah, this is a pain in the arse. Or they put a soft item (like bread) in with a bunch of heavy stuff and you end up with a squashed loaf.

No-one likes a squashed loaf....

Thankfully im a guy... bags were made that size for a reason... so everything can go in one bag .. theres no reason the toilet duck cant go in with the rump steak... both are sealed and its not actually a toilet

Yes, OCD 2 here. Remember no one talks about the OCD A club, not a word. The meetings are as anonymous as paper bag over the head and you don't even have to speak.
