Scootering Darwin

Near got bowled over by a scooter in Cavenagh st at about 8pm after coming out of the Restaurant.....pretty sure they'd had a beer or two....on another night the taxi driver said plenty of people have been hurt riding scooters

They can be a real pain when people are either drunk or just don't care are riding carelessly on the footpath as i found out in Cavenagh st after coming out of the restaurant earlier this year...I mean they are a great idea to get around but can be dangerous for both pedestrians and rider

Yes well i thought they we not allowed in Mitchell st at all but there they were and the taxi driver said that there had been some very nasty accidents already in Darwin and i think they are just hard to police and low and behold council here in the Gong wants them here ?
