I booked Alycia in 2019 2 years later I am yet to see her. I paid the full amount which was $1870. Then Covid hit and booking was postponed. Then in March of 2020 ( 13 months after booking) she announced a Perth tour. Great I thought. Arranged a meeting and drove in to city for a Tuesday night booking. I texted no reply I texted again and again no reply I rang and no answer. After 1 hour of frustration I went home. a week later I got a reply saying she had been stalked by ex in QLD and went into hiding. I asked for some money back a d to this day haven't seen a dime. I can only say I was stupid enough to pay up front. Trying to make sense of it all but in the end I'm out almost $2000 I know have given up hope of ever getting my $$ back or Alycia fullfilling the booking. The thing that pisses me off a fair bit is there has been zero correspondence from Alycia over the journey once the money was paid. I hope others out there don't make the same .mistake.

Sorry to read about your experience but honestly that money is a loss. We live, we learn, some lessons are a hard pill to swallow.

Only slim chance is to take it further with authorities to which I’m sure these type of people know you wouldn’t do. Money for jam to them.

Walk away from it buddy unless your willing to teed a hard road.

A reasonable deposit is fair say 20% if the client dosent turn up the lady can't replace the lost time & it happens with even regular clients. Any more than that i would be wary.
I took a booking the other day for 9pm no answer no show then he pops up at 10.30pm and says I have had dinner I will see her now so it works both ways.
 
Rockboy can you tell the story more clearly how long in advance did you book? What deposit did you pay? Did you speak with here after you paid the deposit?
I always think that sometimes something we need the whole story as a lady with her own website I have always found to be good business woman & ethical, she has been around for a while.
Also tell us how you paid was it Beem It?

Naming & shaming a “professional“ where reputation has a value on a forum such as this can open potential legal issues of liable etc if the “facts” from both sides don’t support the claims or emotion comments/judgemental comments are raised. While it seems like a good idea to “out“, it can be a slippery slope -check the media for examples…..😎.

Well , as good as she look's I'm not sure I would have paid a deposit let alone the full fee.

You have blown your dough and not your sack, Hard lesson to learn from.

One can only guess that in future there will be no deposit's sent in advance.

Sorry this happened to you. Probably shouldn't have paid the full amount.
That's the question, deposits or not. I personally don't ask for a deposit, but I have had a few no-shows. From our point of view, it is such a pain and expensive. I clear this time so nobody else can book me and I take an hour or so preparing myself, showering hair, makeup and perfume. Then I wait and wait and no one turns up. Soooooo fucking frustrating!
Anyway, if she does this alot, then word will get out and her reputation will be tarnished. At the end of the day, our reputation will make us or break us.

Facts are there simple and I would welcome the chance to face her

Rockboy I cant see anything except ripped off tell the story how long did you pay in advance was it the whole booking or just a deposit, without the story its just your word ripped off I have found there are always at least 3 sides to a story
