If your lucky and get vacinated quick enough it can only be a short term, they say the shots last but i disagree with that, i had another around 14yrs later for A&B, Then for non A,non B which later become Hep C, Guess i was lucky as my body got rid of it all, some people end up really sick with Liver disease, Treat your body right and you will be fine, Giving up Drinking was the best thing i did over 17yrs ago, Thats when it became dormant and my body has got rid of it all..Also HEP C is hard to catch, some people think different, more like Hep B, it has to be blood to blood, lot of bullshit myths about that 1, Any Hep can stay in your body it is easier to just go get the shots they are very good these days, in saying that they still don't know how many there is, i have good info from the Health DEP that there is a HEP D, they just don't say that.. Said alot here eventually so i hope it answers your ??
 
Hep shots should be done every 10 years min better less than that.

Interestingly, most people from SE Asia have a natural immunity to hep.
