I was down at Scarborough for a meeing yesterday and discovered more tattoos, black tshirts, beards and shaved heads than I had seen in........ actually ever. They must have nearly booked out the Hotel Rendezvous. It got me wondering, is it a bit like when the USA navy comes to town? The brothels and WL get really busy? Any one brave enough to comment?
 
I doubt those guys would actually visit the local brothels they seem to have plenty of followers already , who would love to party with them
I guess there would even be SAMCRO groupies who would want to fulfill a fantasy
 
Honestly I think they have pulled off the best advertising stunt ever. All this police presence. I bet the American president wouldn't receive such attention.
And what about the fact that they can't enter a licensed premises? I kind of consider it a human right to be in a pub. Wonder what the human rights commission would say to that.
I do think all this attention it is a bit over the top.


PS: had a laugh about the weather........bike is the last thing you want to be on in weather like this........happy riding ;)
 
Either way they are great for the economy around town - LOL pubs are out and cafes are in. So many latte sippin tough guys. Enjoying police protection for free as well. Got it made.
 
Party at the Ossie Park Clubhouse would have to be interesting. Wonder what the El Presidente says to them for his Welcome and Closing Speech? Do they discuss business strategy for the year ahead, review figures for the financial year just finished. Big business doesn't get big by accident. Suspect they could teach the subject of Distribution and Logistics well. But back on your question of Busy...must be similar to when the armed forces come to town.

I bumped into a small group of them is a licensed restaurant over the weekend. They were all wearing similar skivvies with "Rebels" prominently printed on them but no colours. They behaved themselves better than most groups of sportsmen do and I also noted that they had no trouble being served alcohol so maybe Commissioner Karl's ban only applies to pubs and clubs?

On that note I am very uncomfortable with any individual or organisation, including the police and their highly regarded Commissioner, being able to arbitrarily ban individuals or groups from pubs and clubs.

At the very least there should be a process whereby those people have a right to defend themselves initially and a right of appeal against the decision.

hi Sven I agree with you , is Australia a democracy or a dictatorship ( this is also discrimination ) I suppose that is ok if your on top of the ladder :-)
 
That young AFL Footballer from Albany Plays in Melbourne He has not faced the judge yet on an assault charge that he is pleading not guilty to Yet is not allowed to enter an licencsed premises in WA That was imposed , I believe , not by OÇallaghan but by Seargent I think his name is from the liqour license board Could be the commish but I do think its the seargent gentleman

But guilty till proven innocent seems to be getting more common
 
Col look outside Langtrees and see how many he-men are drinking or have been drinking to get enough courage to go punting in the first place
 
Why don't they just go in. If he's going to be Mr Floppy drinking isn't going to help.

Dunno about that Mr 2 I've always regarded myself as the epitome of averageness.
 
One of them told me that the whole police escort cost the tax payer about 6 million dollars. Hence the club made the police an offer: pay us 3 million and we stay away........hehehehe fair deal I reckon. :)

And now they are gone again. Wonder what is making headlines now.

So did I. Research showed that the size of men's penis are inversely proportional to the vehicle they drive/ride. So the bigger and a faster vehicle they have, the game of Where's Willy can be very interesting. I own a small 1.5L vehicle, and it goes like snail.

This is true H2, I've seen it a few times, but yes once I was asked if I'd walk in with a couple of guys. I said ok but I said you'll have to get your own girl. When I'd left 2 hours later, they were still male bonding in the lounge... it's strange guys are nervous around girls and confident everywhere else yet I'm the opposite. Sitting in the LT's lounge for me is like going to one of those relaxation spas.

Once I came in to book a very small petite lady who's no longer at LT's. Unfortunately I just missed out as she was leaving on an Escort with the biggest fattest ugliest bikie I'd ever seen. He had more body hair than my Staffy and a tattoo on his head. I felt very sorry for the lady and hoped she was treated respectfully. On the other hand she may love bad boys or he could have been as gentle as a pussycat.
