Question about screening process

Hi all,
I've been reading in this forum a bit and this seems a nice community. So I turn to you with a question about the screening process some ladies require.
I tried a few punts, but had similar experiences in Adelaide then other people on here. In reaction to that I started looking at more high class ladies in the area. There are a few that interest me and with which I would like to request a meeting. However, I noticed that they require a screening process and deposits. Something I'm not used to coming from West Europe.

Screening
I'm a very private person and never want to give away more information then I need to. From reading forums I already gathered that the ladies ask for the ID as a sort of security for them, although the exact reasoning is something I'm curious about. What I'm trying to figure out, and would like your help on is: What is the minimum information on the ID that needs to be visible so that the ID picture serves the purpose for the screening process? Or, the other way round, how much can I hide and still be accepted as a client?

Deposit
I saw that some ask for a deposit, which I understand and am willing to provide. I saw some asking for Beem. Which methods for paying a deposit do you recommend? And which ones would be a red flag?

Thanks
Dirk

Lots of South Australian private workers are adamant about screening and/or deposits because sex work is criminalised here. Clients that screen and/or pay deposits are less likely to be cops, and less likely to have bad intentions.

As you'll have seen there are lots of escorts in Adelaide with consistent ads on multiple sites, social media presence and good reputations. It isn't hard to tell between a legit professional and a scammer. You don't have to worry about an escort doing anything with the screening information unless you have intention to harm them.

Different escorts have different screening or deposit methods. If you aren't comfortable with someone's requirements that's totally okay, just don't try to negotiate with them, inquire with someone else.

Remember: clients are worried about being "ripped off" or the sex worker not looking enough like their photos. Sex workers are worried about being raped and murdered.

The best idea I've seen is a young lass in darwin who used this on her contact info, I asked her if others could copy the idea and adjust and many have.

Thanks you very much for this detailed and insightful answer. It helped me understand the situation better.

Just look for WLs that do not require your disclosure of personal private info or deposit. Most WLs understand that the pay for play scene is based on anonymity and do nor require the customer to blindly hand over their personal info. Ask yourself this question, would a WL disclose her private ID to you if you asked, or pay you a deposit as compensation in case you are ghosted?

I have paid a deposit several times (usually on a 'whatsapp' ad) both times I was ripped off. I don't look at what's appearing ad or pay deposits anymore.
