Hi fellow punters, just wanted to hear your thoughts/experience about Private WLs asking for deposit?

Never tried it before but for some reasons there seems to be quite a few asking for deposits here down south.

One website in particular seems to have most WL asking for a deposit to lock their time.

Some private escorts are starting to request deposits to sift out W⚓s. It's a tough call as there are some scammers out there that cut and run with your deposit, makes it harder for legit WLs.

There are a few threads on the forum discussing this subject, have a surf around and read. Checking the forum for reviews or asking for intel on a considered service may help you choose.

Some of these WLs work from their private home so it makes sense to try to look after their own welfare.

I've read some pretty awful comments of clients that turned out to be disrespectful in a private home.

Hence my dilemma as I really want to try them out specially with the limited options down South and these girls seem really nice that's why I am worried as I've heard people getting ripped off with their deposits.

Tough call mate, I took a trip down the southwest and it was slim pickings around Busselton, could only get an outcall from Bunbury at that time which I declined. Albany was better but this was about two years ago. I searched Locanto.

Unfortunately some legit WLs are now requiring a deposit to sift out wankers. It can cut both ways really with bad results from client or WL. Bait and switch can be another negative to depositing too.

That's why I am conflicted as most of the locanto ads for Bunbury and Busselton are bait and switch which is why I tried the au.empirescort.com site but with them they all required deposits unlike in Perth I hardly encountered WL asking for deposit. Really tempted to bite the bullet and see what happens lol. Just wish someone had an experience dealing with this website
 
That is a pretty obscure website so I'd say unless you're trying to indorse it then there are much better options.​

I would 100% would not trust empire.

If a girl isn’t on Ivy, Scarlet, EnB or locanto but on some random site no one uses then they likely don’t exist and it’s just a scam with stolen photos

Would like to add something, the reason girls ask for deposits is because some people book and no show

Some workers have to book and pay for childcare and/or a hotel if he no shows this is a huge waste of time and money

Before you ever pay a deposit there are a few things you can do to reduce risk

1. Google their number.

If multiple ads come up it’s a red flag, especially if they’re all over the country

2. Check their social media.

Most reputable workers will have some form of social media

3. Check how long they have been around for.

Check the date on their social media, if it’s brand new that’s a red flag, you want someone that’s been around a while

Also check the dates of any testimonials and reviews

4. Ask a few questions.

If she agrees to your every request and just says yes to everything, it could be a red flag
 
Just a heads up, if I see any obscure websites being promoted within the forum, that may be questionable in how they procure their content, the author of those comments will be watched closely. If this is a trend throughout the forum a measured response will be considered in dealing with them.

Thanks Perthgirl yeah I mainly used those sites you mentioned just really hard looking for decent girls that aren't bait and switch down here. No way am I advertising any site WildBrumby just wanted to see if anyone actually had any experience dealing with that site before I bit the bullet with them 😅 but thanks to you both I am stearing clear of them will have to just settle with Touring girls or the occasional trips up to Perth 😁

I know it's slim pickings down south mate, I found it hard to search when down that way so kept to well known platforms.😉

There are the rare WL in the southwest but it's hit and miss when they choose to work then what they have to offer. I'd say if you find a good one possibly consider being a regular, I'm sure they'd appreciate the business. I personally found Albany easiest when touring around the south. But like I said that was two years ago.
 
Just for me personally I used to do long-haul around Australia and kept my searches simple by doing local search on Locanto.

Apple phones don't support the Locanto app on IOS but any Android phone you can download the Locanto app.

I have an iPhone for my personal phone and a Motorola for my recreational/quarantine phone.​

Yes I guess it works both ways 2. If only ypu would get paid for your wasted time on a bait and switch. Personally I would never pay a deposit on someone unknown. Given up on most ads now. Better to just do than when overseas on holidays.
 
I would never pay a deposit either, especially if ID is required. What if punters demanded a deposit in case their time is wasted with bait and switches, ghosting and so on? My time is valuable as well so not requiring a deposit on either side sort of cancels each other out.
 
Interesting to see the comments here by all. As a previous private worker who had toured NZ wide, Australia Wide, and including regional WA, another reason for deposits was to confirm the tour went ahead prior to leaving my home base in Perth.

I took deposits for two reasons.

1. To weed out time wasters/lock in confirmed client bookings.

2. To cover overheads prior eg. Newspaper ads in each town, accomodation, gas/car rental etc, time taken to get to/from these locations.

Any tour is a large financial commitment, and comes with a certain level of risk, financial and otherwise.

Might I suggest that a great way for screening WLs ads, is to interact with advertisers who have VERIFIED ads. Also, the list of ways to prove WL authenticity that Perth Girl has provided is an excellent resource to refer to!

One bloke on here booked to see a W/L that advertised on Scarletblue, transferred his deposit $300, think she was a 700/hr girl, and he noticed that she changed her name on her Scarletblue advert, he messaged her about it and she blocked him for asking a simple question. Scarletblue was contacted about her numerous profiles after the fact but nothing happened, and he did his research into her before transferring the deposit to her.

So with the down south area asking for deposits, is it $50 or a percentage of the hourly amount?
Sounds like you may have to roll the dice and see what happens with a report post on your outcome.
