No chance the diggers died for what these scumbags represent today.

Edit .. I see the thread title has been completely changed, and without a democratic vote might I add. It used to be LEST WE FORGET.

Agree! We have certainly lost our way. The politicians just want another term with their snouts in the trough and they gain it by throwing financial crumbs to the electorate to win a few votes. There is no visionary plan for the country/economy, just mediocrity and self interest. We need visionary leaders prepared to do the hard things to facilitate positive change and a more egalitarian system. The sacrifices of the fallen who gave their lives in war need to be honoured not squandered.
 
As far as I know, polticians pay for nothing when they travel for governmental duties. Food, hotels etc all paid for by tax payer.

If Adolf himself came back alive today our leaders today would line up for a trade deal with him even knowing full well he was killing millions in camps, they could turn a blind eye to that, as long as they made $$$$$$$ and there mates in suits including themselves got a slice of the action...
I know that sounds brutal but hey that's all what matters today is the mighty dollar no matter where it comes from.

Look no further than the head of Syria meeting Trump he had a 10 Million Dollar bounty on his head 11 short months ago, was not allowed into the USA until 3 days ago.. but there to sign trade deals all OKAY..

It’s clearer now, more than ever, that the deep state control everything. For the reasons given above, for the wars ( and proxy wars) were continuingly involved in - otherwise known as the military industrial complex. All they do is keep themselves in power or the revive the benefits from those in power I.e tax payers money. The tv show Yes Minuster brilliantly parodied this.

Unfortunately we live in a duopoly- only two main political parties to choose from, both controlled by the same deep state.

The change lies with us……..

The other thing to note here is this... I used to love watching sport not that long ago, when you would turn on the telly wait for it to come on, two teams/players would walk out warm up time was called the game/match started you watched it, game was over either the team/player you support won/lost, there was no politics involved anywhere as it was the escape form just that. now sport is politics as we can see before Grand Finals/Etc so as soon as that happened I switched off... I can't be bothered with it..

The great thing about the land of Prostitution its remained the same for decades... Long live it..
