It sounds to me like she may have Bacterial Vaginosis. The symptoms match, it is not an STI but is an imbalance caused by bacteria. A trip to the doctor and a quick swab would let her know. If it is BV a dose of antibiotics and all will be well. The joy's of being female......
It does sound like a visit to the doctor.....especially the smelly bit. It can be a harmless bacteria that causes the smell which is easily treated and nothing to worry........just to be sure. The bacteria Tania is talking about is part of the natural vaginal environment. Sometimes it can over grow so to say and cause this kind of fishy smell. This imbalance has nothing to do with hygiene. It can happen to any woman any time.
