I had a client earlier who decided to tell me once I was in the room that my peers were more or less ugly. Which I did not take kindly! Yes it is up to the client in who he choose to spend time with but there is no need to be disrespectful to my peers. How rude!!!!

Amen!! The guy is a first-class jerk. (I know that is an American term but we don't have an Australian equivalent, do we??)

For all he knew your sister or best friend could have been in the group he so casually disparaged.

I totally agree honey that is rude and should not of been said at all but some guys are just like that. It's called respect they had the choice of what girl they wanted to see and they chose you for a reason. Everyone has a right to freedom of speech but there are times were there is no need.

Just to play devils advocate for a sec, but it might have been a very awkward way of trying to pay you a compliment. Being someone who always seems to say the wrong thing unintentionally when I'm nervous, I'd be inclined to give that bloke the benefit of the doubt. Unless he was an arrogant cocksure wanket ofcourse.

Something to ponder............

“The Law of the Garbage Truck.”Many people are like garbage trucks.

They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment. As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it. If you let them, they’ll dump it on you.

When someone wants to dump on you, don’t take it personally. You just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. You’ll be happy you did. So this was it: The “Law of the Garbage Truck.”

I started thinking, how often do I let Garbage Trucks run right over me? And how often do I take their garbage and spread it to other people: at work, at home, on the streets?

It was that day I said, “I’m not going to do it anymore.”I began to see garbage trucks. Like in the movie “The Sixth Sense,” the little boy said, “I see Dead People.” Well, now “I see Garbage Trucks.” I see the load they’re carrying. I see them coming to drop it off. I don’t make it a personal thing; I just smile, wave, wish them well, and I move on.

Good parents know that they have to welcome their children home from school with hugs and kisses. Leaders and parents know that they have to be fully present, and at their best for the people they care about. The bottom line is that successful people do not let Garbage Trucks take over their day. What about you?

What would happen in your life, starting today, if you let more garbage trucks pass you by? Here’s my bet.
You’ll be happier.

Life’s too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so..
Love the people who treat you right.
Forget about the ones who don’t.
Believe that everything happens for a reason.

If you get a chance , TAKE IT!
If it changes your life , LET IT!

Nobody said it would be easy…
They just promised it would be worth it

I think you took it the wrong way. His vocabulary probably consists of ugly instead of physically attracked to ?. He would be paying you a complement but didnt realize he affended you. You need to tell him next time they are your friends, He,s no mind reader. Most wls bitch to us about their co workers.
She done this and she done that (what ever)

i totally agree if a guy gets in the room, some don't even wait till then they'll openly tell you in the lounge, and starts bagging other girls i give him a piece of my mind i especially hate it when insecure men start commenting that there is a transsexual working and start making comments like 'it' and 'thing' or 'he, she, whatever' really get me angry and i cant hold myself back from telling them how rude they are :angry1:

It's even worse when other working girls start calling the transexual WL "it," etc. I smile and say "Honey, I didn't realise you were so homophobic." And when they protest about how that's not homophobic ..... I tell them that de-humanising someone because of their sexual orientation by calling them "it" is homophobic at the very least. Some get it, some don't.

Hi, im so sorry you had an awful client, we have beautiful girls in all different ways here at langtrees:love10:

maybe he is just being honest, maybe thats his perception, maybe he is insensitive and knows no better. Maybe he doesn't know how you will interpret what he is saying? its all perception and opinion, I wonder if you continued your booking with him? thats after you told him what you thought, from what you heard, lets explain it this way, if you will allow me,

Sense imagery ( sight , sound, touch , taste etc ) = mental evaluation from such= ego ( your opinion, generated from your life experiences) = mental reaction ( generated from past mental reactions) = physical reaction ( such as "a verbal spat" or possibly even violence)

If you take out the "ego" and just evaluate the imagery, you cut the process of involvement of. You dont have an opinion, its just information that you have been supplied with and you carry on.You can choose to not be affected by it, it wasn't even about you anyway. This can apply to all things in life, its all choice, if you choose to be upset you will be, if all you ever choose is all youve ever chose, all youll ever get, is all youve ever got! Change the prescription of your glasses honey if you dont like what you see, I would have thought that a working lady would be well versed in accepting the personal flaws of others, both in the physical and mental sense, yes there are assholes around, we all at times make an ass of ourselves...
