I think about maybe 6 months later, I bumped into him at the same restaurant and lo and behold saw him again, though he didn't look the scruffy young man that he was and was no longer the dishwasher but the, what do you call them, the meet and greet guy at the counter who shows you to your table. He was very well dressed, suit and tie and all that. He cleaned up well and looked quite fit and pumped now. I didn't recognise him but he recognised me. I asked him how things were going and, I kid you not, he was very grateful and thanked me for setting him straight back then. Long story short, his ex gf came back wanting to be friends and then wanted to get back together as she "felt" she made a mistake but he had moved on as I pointed him in the right path. He was a new man, with ambition and direction. I guess being dumped enabled him to start afresh. After dinner, went to pay and found out that he had already taken care of it. And it wasn't cheap, about 150 (decent steaks in Perth aren't cheap).

I wonder what happened to him. Very much doubt he would still be there as this was maybe 3 years ago unless he bought up the place!

There are obviously a few morals in the above story:
1. Build you dreams first and the rest will come to you.
2. Pay a good deed forward.
3. Know your value and worth.

Bit of an update on the local lady I found...

Talk about being careful what you wish for. This one is insatiable, wants me to come around every day and then tries to get me to come around a second time in the arvo. After five straight days of this I told her I needed a break for one day at least. So I had my one day off and then back to it today. With these things I always think that they are teetering on the end of an abyss and could end at any time, so I am trying to enjoy it while I can without having a heart attack in some lady's house. It's a good job she is a FIFO and liable to be away for a fortnight at a time, or I reckon I would be done for. So there's my genuine RHP success story which has saved me the price of ten roots already :p

According to this lady, she doesn't fuck any of the guys on the mine site but uses her vibrators etc every day. So right now it has literally been eight of the past nine days, and there are two more days until she goes back to work and I go to NZ on holiday. Great place, definitely one I love to go back to. I know it’s corny but a visit to Hobbiton is a must and there are just so many places worth visiting on the South Island. Have fun over there, keep safe and good luck with the punting!

If you want to go to Hobbiton, BOOK NOW!!!!!!!!!!! The tour bus companies out of Auckland and Tauranga book all the slots out months in advance, however you can drive to the place yourself and do the tour. That's what we were going to do but it was booked out for months so we missed out.

Mind you maybe you can go on one of the bus tours and pick up a couple of asian tourist ladies for the evening when you get back to town? :cool:

Thanks for the advice, but I've just looked into it and it's booked out. Not being a big fan of LoTR myself, it just didn't occur to me that it would sell out. Pretty stupid, but there it is.
