Do people actually walk? I would be nervious that they have some type of way of dealing with people who walk so it doesn't happen to the repeatedly. Mybe a question for a new topic. But any bad experiences with walking?
Yes, I've walked a few times, but not often.
I do my research on this Forum and read the ad carefully. I check the pics against 'Tineye', and Google Images search before I book.
After all that, you sometimes have to take one for the team if there is no real info - and sometimes if the one review looks like the opposition having a go.
I also take other precautions - I park a few houses away, or in nearby shopping centre carparks and walk the rest of the way. I leave all my valuables (normal phone, wallet, house keys, etc.) in the car glovebox and only take in the amount quoted in the ad, stand by the door until satisfied that the girl I booked is the one in front of me and that her pics were not taken 20 years and 20 kilos ago, check with her that we are on the same page re time (30 or 60 minutes), price, services agreed on, etc.
Once you have handed over the money and taken your clothes off, its pretty much too late !
Although I did once put my pants back on when the young girl who met me at the door left and was replaced by a much, much older lady who had seen better days. Luckily I had not handed over the money yet - but still copped some shouting and abuse - but sticks and stones ay break my bones, but being called rude names washed off me like water off a duck's back !
Its your hard earned money - if you went into a restaurant and ordered a three course meal and they threw a moldy hamburger at you and said, "Shut up and eat it !", you would walk out without paying. Same applies here.
Cheers.
