There were stories a few years ago about a few rogue shearers abusing the sheep during shearing that the RSPCA investigated but animal welfare activist organisations want shearing outlawed even though 99.9% of shearers do the job properly.

I worked as a jackaroo and station hand for a few years after I left school. God help the shearer that needed the tar brush more than three times a day. The boss would go nuts. The lambs had the worst time. Ear clips, castration, tail docking and mulesing etc were not pretty. Standing at the swing cradle all day doing that we were all covered in blood. BUT, it protected them from fly strike (which is the worst death imaginable) and kept the station viable. I still love a good lamb roast and I'm pleased to see the practices of the past have been improved on greatly to ensure a less stressful and more humane approach. But I'd still be happy to sharpen the knife for next Sundays roast :-)
 
Am I getting too old?
Was trying to understand the point of being naked too. All 3 seemed so unappealling to me. My focus was drawn to what she was holding - still thought it was a pig at first, was it alive?, and wondered about the stress she was putting it through.
 
I understand issues with fur, etc, but sheep being farmed to produce wool.
Made me wonder about crocodile farms and farmed for their skins.
Like to see her with both her hands wrapped around a big saltie and waving it around her head.

I’m curious as to why keep giving her attention. That’s all she wants. As the saying goes any press is good press. I personally think it’s a shame that her shit occupies other people’s time and energy
