I did have an awesome night at Dollhouse on Wednesday. The night reminded me of the old nights at the Platinum Bar.

They also have some great theme nights that are a lot of fun, that do have free entry as well.
 
O.K, my second visit to Penthouse was a lot better than my first.

First thing I discovered is that the ownership is the same and, as well as the obvious improvement in the decor they have changed the way the girls perform, and not all for the better.

The podium shows are continuous and the girls come out 2 - 3 at a time and go through a progressive strip, ending up nude. Tippers sit right at the edge of the stage on backless pouffes and wave their tipping dollars in the (often vain) hope of attracting the girls' attention. I was the first to move forward and felt a bit of a tool at first but once a few others followed suit it got better although quite a few of the girls didn't show much interest in collecting tips.

Only a couple of the girls left the stage to work the seats and I saw, and received a couple of boobs in the face thank yous which is always a nice touch.;)

Feature dancers came out every second or third show and the first was Vanity who was in her usual fine form. Second girl, whose name I missed was a bit chubby but still put in some good moves on the poles. Overall the standard of eye candy was pretty good although there were too many overstuffed fake boobs and tattoos for my liking. Special mention to the little Thai or Filipina waitress - she was an adorable little minx with the most beautiful waist-length hair you ever saw. I gave her my remaining tipping dollars as I left.

Right after Vanity's show I was bailed up by Addison who very kindly offered me a lapdance and I can never say no to her so took the opportunity to check out the renovated downstairs area. There is now a double row of stalls (I suppose that is what they are called) separated by translucent glass panels with a padded bench for the punter to sit on. Addison and I snagged a corner one which was a bit more private and, as usual, she gave me more than my money's worth. If she approaches you don't miss out - she is a little sweetheart and if you treat her right a lapdance from her is worth every cent.

Heading back upstairs I saw the equally lovely Mystique, now sporting a chin-length bob in place of her previous trademark waist-length hair. Sadly, I could not afford a second dance but it was good to catch up with her again.

There was quite a full house by 10PM and by midnight it was getting uncomfortably crowded, especially around the stage area so at this point I headed home, quite satisfied with my night out. Overall, I think the place is shaping up well and if the girls could get a bit friendlier during the stage shows it would be great.

Nope: just the regular three songs for $100 but I am sure we went a bit over time which is one reason. The other reason is that Addison is not as strict as some of the other girls about keeping her distance - she plays within the rules but there is plenty of contact and i always feel as if she is really enjoying herself, not just doing a job.

I guess it is like the lapdance equivalent of the G.F.E. which full service punters always look for.

Like I said, treat her nicely, pretend to be a gentleman and she will give you your money's worth.
 
I have attended Exotica ever since the concept was started in Wellington street many years ago. Over the years each change has, in my view, been a downgrade to the overall enjoyment of the venue.

The recent refit for The Penthouse may have been needed etc etc, however the seating and stage layout is absolutely disgusting. It is no better than what you would see in Kings Cross, two rows of seats lined up in front of stage against the wall. It looks like a old movie theatre.

Whoever designed this has a very limited view of what a club should be like, and has obviously not been to any of the better clubs around Australia in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. To be honest he only has to go around the corner to the voodoo lounge to see how a club can be setup.

I will not mention too much about dances as these are all overpriced where ever you go in Perth. Like many things in Perth we pay high prices compared to Sydney & Melbourne. We just get ripped off.

I am now done visiting The Penthouse Club. The Voodoo is far better and not too mention Why Not Wednesday at the Dollhouse. Both worth checking out.

Nope! There are "no touching" signs all over the place so you can't go the grope as per the Gold Coast clubs.However, the girls are allowed to initiate contact and if you are respectful and, probably good looking, they will spend a lot of time in your lap.

If you can show that you can be trusted a hand on a shoulder and a hug and a peck on the cheek afterwards is usually o.k. but grabby guys will be shown the door in short order.
 
This is all true about the new digs. As a semi-regular of Exotica - even in its old place next door to the current, I can't say I particularly enjoy the new sterile facilities. A refurbishment was certainly warranted, but it has lost some of its 'charm', and the McDonalds style layout downstairs is not an improvement - way too professional for its own good nowadays. Still the ladies there are the best that I can see in Perth, and a funny disposition will always get you further than a drunken one in that place

Have really enjoy Perth since moving here but Perth Strip clubs are crazy over priced!!! Best clubs in Melbourne or Sydney are half the price AND BRISBANE IS CHEAPER AGAIN!!! Clubs in Perth are nice without being spectacular but still think they can charge like they are just killing it. Give me a few beers and trip to an AMP any day! All for half the price of one dance!

I used to know a couple of the girls working both places. Very sweet but had to travel to get any decent income. I wouldn't go into either place these days; mainly because I actually like ladies.

He went to the Penthouse Club or whatever it's called, on William St and told me that it now costs $200 for a fifteen minute private dance. Is this true? Even if it's half that cost, what the hell are people paying that amount of money for?

Please don't tell me people are actually paying anywhere near $200 !

Is there anyone reading this post who has paid close to that amount of money for a fifteen minute show? If so, how did you fell afterward? You must have felt like a complete muppet.

Men have no chance on this planet if word gets around that we're so pathetic, we find it acceptable to pay that amount of cash to see tits and ass.

Fly to Singapore. In the four floors of whores I got my cock out in a booth and had it stroked, for free. And that's tame compared to the comparably cheap options in Thailand.
 
Nah!! The basic three song private one on one in the semi-private lounge downstairs is still $100. You can pay $200 or $300 for a longer session if you are silly (or drunk) enough. In fact you can pay as much as you like - The option of two hours in a private room with the lady of your choice and a bottle of bubbles will set you back $600 according to the menu I saw on my last visit. Trust me, your pecker won't be getting any fresh air or attention for that courtesy of our very restrictive liquor licensing laws.

On one visit I sat with a young F.I.F.O. worker who was the classic Friday night millionaire. he took a girl downstairs for a private dance, extended for another three songs then grabbed a couple more girls who were down there and had dances with them..........all up he left $1,000 behind. Yes, he was a silly boy and I hope the sight of his depleted wallet the next day hurt as much as his hangover. I also had more than a touch of envy for his pay packet.;)

The only people sillier than him are the real halfwits who fly to places like Thailand to get drunk, stick their unprotected dicks into anything with a pussy (real or manufactured) then bring nasty "souvenirs" back to Oz with them.

Disclaimer: No, put the "racist" comment back in its box. I love Thailand and respect the Thai people who are one of the most genuinely friendly peoples on this Earth. That is why it hurts when I hear of beautiful Thai women being trafficked, prostituted and used as sex toys by men who aren't fit to lick their sandals. Tragically, it is often their own nationals doing the trafficking and their own Police who turn a blind eye which just shows that there are bad apples in every barrel.

I do agree with you, though that the cost of lapdances in this state is over the top. If you extend the $100 for three songs to an hours worth it would cost you the same as a one hour visit to Langtrees and that is a bit crazy.

Went there for a bucks party. The interior of the place is great - one big main stage with individual seating around it, then benches against the back wall to sit with mates. There's also a private upstairs part. Girls there were good, mostly English with fake tits. They do get very pushy with trying to make a sale - one guy was being lead by a woman downstairs for a lap dance and he had to pull himself away from her because she wouldn't let go
 
I'm not sure if it's changed from when I went there a few years ago, but I found the whole setup where it's the stage and a bunch of seats facing it like a theatre a bit average. My all time favourite venue is the spearmint rhino in Melbourne and if we had something similar in Perth I'd be bankrupt.

I personally prefer the Voodoo lounge over this place but I should give it another try I guess as I've heard good things recently.
