So Canberra is a Buzz this week with The federal Parliament sitting and we've been told to expect lots of changes with jobs cuts and the tightening of the governments wallet. If you were the priminister what would your "promises" be??

job training and creation for the over 50's. now that we all have to work till we are 70
 
ooh its a deal johnlou… make sure you get a lotto ticket this week then its a big 20 million up for grabs!!
 
lol ok ok hmmm if i was in charge i would look at the hospital waiting times and procedures. its heartbreaking when you hear that someone needs a life saving operation but because of waiting times or red tape its delayed, i know it can't be helped in some cases and maybe its just wishful thinking but if i could click my fingers or wave a magic wand no one would ever have to wait

Where to spend the money and where to save is the secret. I believe too much is spent on the wrong things so more taxes required to patch up what really needs money. Alas it is impossible to please everybody at the same time unless you are attending a orgy. :)
 
.........sigh.........guess the most honest answer would be "don't know" as it is hard to keep promises especially in politics.....but in saying that........if I would be PM I would think like a politician........so .......honestly.......don't want to think like one because they make it sound good even when it is not so good.

What else, no taxes on Rum and early retirement age of 50 for all who wish it and compullsory work for 15 to 30 year olds or military service for all 15 to 30 year olds.
