Painted with the same brush...

I consider myself lucky that my mother gave me the gift never to judge others without trying to take the time to know them.

How many people I wonder used to paint the others with the same brush??

What were your views on the sex industry?
How many of us used to think it was full of dirty old men wearing their trenchcoats while hiding in the back seat of an adult cinema?
How many people view a W/L as a druggie trying to find a way to pay for their next hit?

Maybe I`m looking thru rose coloured glasses but although I know I cannot claim to have met all of them but for those that I have met either in life or chatted with via the forum I like to think we are a good bunch...
No matter if we are the business person with no time to find a love life or we use the services of a W/L because we want to fulfill all our fantasies or we may have a partner that for certain reasons is no longer interested in sex that we still 100% love.
The W/L that I have chatted with seem to be a happy bunch of beautiful ladies that will always put thier family first. For that I admire them.

Sure we don`t always see eye to eye but if we did, just think how boring life would be...

I`m sleepy so maybe I`m writing crazy, so I`ll crawl back in to bed now...

Take care everybody :love76:

BB I think as kids we are led to believe w/l's are the poor unfortunates forced into a degrading way of life by pimps and the underbelly of society in general
And I guess there are some very sad stories out there.
But as we have grown up we have met and sometimes got to know some
in the industry Only to learn the whole gamut of people work in the industry just the same as in any other industry or aspect of life
But am I a Dirty Old Man? NO!! Middle-aged if you dont mind

Nice post BB, yes I agree. Those who haven't ventured into this "industry" really have a very distorted view.

Why just today a close friend of mine was discussing murder. He suggested it's usually "unimportant people who are murdered". When I inquired who he considered "unimportant" he replied with "homeless people and prostitutes"

...it's usually "unimportant people who are murdered"...."homeless people and prostitutes"

......its sad that your friend holds that view, Alexandra......in my opinion, every one is important to someone regardless of their station in life or their place in society.

Fudd :)

I started in this industry 2 years ago.
My view on this profession was always dirty, drug users, ripped stockings. runny eye liner.
When i was a child i watched a movie that formed all those fews that carried through my adult life.
When i went to see about this i had no intention of going through with it, i was just venting at the time.
My first look in a brothel blew me away. it was beautiful, clean, lovely ladies. all the health regulations.
I went ahead with my first night thinking if i do this there is no turning back.
Well now i do not want to turn back, i love this profession and 99% of the people in it.
We are normal people with normal lives.
The clients are all fantastic, all need to be spoiled every now and again.
The best choice i have ever made in my life.
Love it. Taylor from Kal xoxo.

Sad that he thinks that way. But raises another question. Do most WL keep their profession a secret from their real life family and friends?
