Happy Saturday everyone 🙂
Just a general observation - but has anyone else noticed significant increase in the amount of online scammers in and around the adult dating / services segment of the market over the last couple of months? it's almost 90% of everything advertised is either fake or someone trying to rip you off.

I know what you are saying but I have paid deposits in the past but only for ladies who have an established advertising presence on the main websites and who have good reviews. I would never pay a deposit for a Locanto ad unless I had seen them previously.

I look at it from their perspective that there are too many people who book them and never show. It costs them time and money and must be very frustrating for them because they knock back other bookings.

@AmeliaKennedy comes across as a genuine person on here so I am sure the deposit would be honoured.

I am not worried about being ripped off by Amelia that’s the furthest thing from my mind.
My struggle is with how is this achieved and still kept private. I don’t understand the whole beem it thing or similar.
it’s just my thoughts is all, nothing against Amelia at all, I get it from her side totally.

That's OK I understand it just seems to be the only way at the moment to avoid the mess around.. I let one person not pay last week & guess what he didn't turn up 🤦‍♀️ clients I've seen before I would never ask for a deposit. It all came about because two weeks ago on a Tuesday I was sat by my pool relaxing and a client wanted 11.30am so I drove 45mins into the city and he didn't turn up, that same day I had 4 others do it and no real bookings i turned down clients I knew because I always try and do the right thing first in bla bla and I could have relaxed in the sun instead I wasted a day in my incall getting ready 5 times for no reason and something had to change. Since bringing in deposits this hasn't happened when I've asked for one clients have ghosted or sworn at me and that's okay because I know they are not coming and I can make other plans.

To keep it private I offer different methods as do alot of girls beem it is the most used, you use a user name and it can be your choice. Alternatively you have smart ATM's you can deposit cash or use OSKO/Pay ID (This is the least discreet method)

The scams are rife everywhere.

Getting bombarded with text messages saying my parcel ready be picked up and click a link.

Easy enough delete and block but comes through again from different number. Not sure how avoid without changing numbers

Sameeee I have had so many of these parcel and voicemail ones always a different number I reckon I must have blocked atleast 50 numbers so far. I haven't had one on my personal number though 🤷‍♀️🤞

Agreed... there are soo many expenses in this industry. Second rent for incall, advertising etc an it's beyond frustrating last Monday I did another experiment I didn't ask anyone for deposit and they all no showed me.. atleast when I ask for a deposit and they don't respond i know they are not coming 🤣 Nothing worse than getting all ready each time for no reason.
 
I did have an odd one last week though.. he paid the full amount before coming (I didn't ask for the full amount!) And he still didn't turn up and didn't even message (I messaged asking where he was when he was late). this was Thursday and I still haven't heard from him 🤷‍♀️

Mate all dressed up with no where to go !...but yes i do understand your predicament and I hope that you don't suffer to much revenue loss because of this......If in WA I'd love to visit you.
