A work mate recently said to me that carbon dating was invented by people to disprove god and christianity.

So frustrating but I do think that having faith is a beautiful thing.

Agreed, the temptation to have undying faith is great, my favourite saviour type brings must be Gandalf, in fact in many ways isn't he the unproved Jesus? He lived as Gandalf the grey did good to all and preached love and tolerance while always able to defeat the forces or evil, then after death resurrected as Gandalf the white with even more power and a wicked white horse.....
 
Well I think I have to give this permission slip to Sue the CEO so I can get a pass sometimes - as I do get upset when I make mistakes!

I wasn't always the perfect house wife *coughsplatter* and I still have letters my Better half wrote to me during my wicked years. Absolutely gut wrenching stuff. I don't sit and read them all the time and I only come by them recently looking for something else, I won't get rid of them. I might not be that person anymore but the pain I caused is very real and I don't think I am ready to forgive and forget- even if he is. All those mistakes, and trials is what keeps me on track now, and moving and growing. Unfortunately as hard as it is to remember and stomach- I can't deny that part of my life.

Well said Homer.... yes how else does one learn except by mistakes..... Also sometimes we do get too anxious and want to fast-forward work so I guess patience is REALLY a virtue for me!!

You Better Half was a good half discussing what bugged him.... because when we are younger we tend to be
wild & sometimes wicked! Perhaps if my ex-husband had wrote me letters letting me know what was bugging him when we were married issues may have been solved & I would still be married!!!
But glad to see the New & Improved version Tania here!! :joyful::joyful::joyful: Continue being AWESOME!
 
Mistakes, unfortunately, are a part of learning in life. Ask one of those billionaires in this world...I'm sure they've made more than any of us because they put their asses on the line to succeed. Maybe we all need to make more mistakes in life LOL ?:asshat:

I was always active kid into sports and music. But two things I always wanted to do..... I never finished learning Japanese language and learning to play guitar and piano. I am planning to do it one day...-)) I also would love to learn how to dance salsa!-)))

I'm currently self teaching the ukulele, I started belly dancing last year but I'm taking a break, I do poi dancing but I'd like to do fire twirling, And knitting and crochet are on my to do list. I'd love to learn another language- probably Mandarin, or French.
 
I hope I don't get a smack on the head for asking the same question over and over again when I am in my 70's.
 
Oh i don't have a dancer. I guess your the backup to the backup, just in case backup can't make it, they can call on the backup's backup. That's a great backup plan indeed.
 
With this many backups it's sounding like IT, which means they'll probably all fail and the lowliest dancer will get the blame :rolleyes:
