Ahoy Lads August 16, and Yes I had a few Rums

Now lads;- The 16th of August is America's National Rum Day and we want to turn this into INTERNATIONAL Rum Day. Take the opportunity to either enjoy a glass of your favourite rum drink (straight, mixed or however you like it...) or better yet try a rum or rum based cocktail you have never tried before...

This is not a party, this is not at a specific location - it is International Rum Day where everyone should take the opportunity, wherever they may be, to enjoy a little (or a lot of) rum.
Obviously it has not been approved Yet, but, maybe one day
 
I must say i am not a fan of rum-but I recently had some Sailor Jerry's and I have to say it's really tasty! Very smooth-I think Bunderburgh well and truly put me off rum but the Sailor Jerry's tastes nothing like it I'm happy to say. Plus the label on the bottle is gorgeous! Using Sailor Jerry's actual artwork for the labeling-very nice! xx

I'm not a connoisseur of rum either, which leads me to ask happypirate: what are the top 3 rums you would recommend?
