I simply don't see them bottom line no polite way to put it. I recently had the very hard decision to stop seeing men on Indian origin and African men. This was based on a variety of reasons and the lack of communication due to poor English coupled with them choosing not to read/respect. I am in no way a racist person but keeping myself safe, both psychically safe and mentally comes first. We all have our own level to how much crap we will or can take and how much we need the money can be a deciding factor as in who you will or will not see. It has taken me many many years as a WL to draw the line. I have some regular gentlemen I choose to no longer see due to them hurting me and the broken/poor English is a massive barrier in getting the do's and don't across then you have a cultural barrier how women are treated in their society. Follow your gut feeling

Yes thanks for the confirmation...
Was feeling conflicted with feeling racist but i know there will be issues. I have had a few Africans asking but i cant ok it in my gut. I hear you with the other races also...its also a " how they treat women" thing with me . I have had no dramas to date because like you i DONT GO THERE... And now thinking of Incalls, i dont want someone not understanding what is asked of them coming near my house.

You've been a great help. thanks

I often use the search engine to find African ladies and the search often captures ads by sex workers indicating "no Africans" "no Indians". In States where sex work is 100 legal could this be construed as a breach of racial discrimination laws? Perhaps a punter with legal background could give us a perspective?
One way to avoid offending people would be to ask clients to describe themselves in a few words and then decline if you have a doubt about your safety.

Her body, her choice. There was a thread a while back about this particular topic. Why would a WL want to waste both the clients and her time by asking for a description when she can just be outright. In this industry, I can tell you that we can't help but categorise certain types of men, especially when time after time again they have caused problems. No Africans could be the fact that they are larger in the pants department (I know I avoid these men because everyone I have met I have had to refuse for this reason) and no indians, well every one that I have been in the room with has been rude and rough and 9/10 will complain and want their money back because I wont let them do whatever they wish to me. It is not because they are racist, It is because of poor behaviour from them that they do unfortunately get categorised. Like Irish for example, I know they will be big and loud and irratating. With only two gentlemen proving otherwise, its sometimes not worth the risk. I would hate for you to be forced into something you do not wish to do, but perhaps it is the only way it could be gotten through to you. We as human beings should always be able to choose what happens to our bodies.

Not suggesting you should be forced to accept anyone. It's your call, perhaps I'm not qualified to talk about this subject.

Excellent points , both ...I have come up with a solution and it works well.

Yes, Ginger I have tried some of the Cultures you mention, trying not to be discriminatory in my own mind at least , but it does come back to personal opinion and choice... some are rude and paranoid (or is that a personality trait?)...some sweet and polite ( thanks to their parents influence?).
Who knows but my main concern is respect and the understanding of the English language, so T&C are not breached or over stepped.
My safety is the No 1 item on my agenda , then their comfort.

I enjoy the opinions of the responses here... it's great to get differing players and views points.
thanks

And if a person can't speak or understand the English language them how can they understand and be respectful of our do's and don't's. It is not an racial or discriminant decision/choice it's based on mutual respect and keeping one's self safe. And when the same pattern arises with a set group of men from same country of origin then it's valid for a lady to say no. After another repeated episode yesterday with an Indian man who has been a client for a few years under no terms will I see men from this cultural background. If the get through my screening process they will be turned away at the door. No lady under any circumstance should have to tolerate the behavior and abuse of this men. No mean's No and these men either choose not to hear or just don't give a f***.
I don't see African men because in general I find they are to well hung for my liking and body. It has nothing to do with Race. I now mostly see Aussie men and have very little issues and if people have a problem with that then I invite them to have a booking or deal with these men on a everyday basis. I think as more ladies are open about it the more you will see following and feeling comfortable in saying no

Agree MM... We all understand there is no win in being offensive, nor is there in being closed to a situation thyat may cause harm or discomfort .
It's mainly rude, aggressive, unreliable or disrespectful behaviour I don't tolerate... from any race :) .
I have a screening process thanks to your advice and it works well so far. I also ask them to text.... no understand, then no booking in my World.
I have no problem with screening for their and my comfort.

Lucky for such gentlemen, there are other ladies....

I have only ever come accross asian gentleman who couldnt speak english, they are harmless though and normally come with a friend who can speak some english. I will ask their friend if they can understand the word no. This is the main word thats needed. However I would imagine I would feel more threatened with a gentleman who's racial traits normally mean he is larger in the pants department or body mass, thats when it can get scary.

Spot on. I think sometimes people forget money doesn't buy you everything. This includes someone's right to say no... You have the right to say no to a task at work if you feel it's putting you at risk, why should it be any different for a WL??? Racial discrimination my ass. It's called making a discerning judgement

yep translators are great... and Homer, the auto subtitle is already here I think for the hearing impaired.
I have a visually impaired Client who has an Iphone text-to-audio app... its terrific. messes up on auto correct so I have to be careful, but it even recognises :)

Bottom line is , if i cant be understood or understand my client, then its a no go for me... i am really more concerned about the attitude of the person ..rudeness, berating me for not working "his" hours, paranoia.. all sorts of cultural things that can creep in and give me the creeps :)

MJ, in some businesses the owner will include a statement in ads like

"due to WHS legislation (or staff safety / because we offer personal service / past bad behaviour etc) we reserve the right to refuse service / entry etc" to protect themselves from anti-discrimination legislation.

This is probably only relevant in the ACT and any other places where working is not illegal.

The anti-discrimination legislation makes provision for legitimate special interests e.g. Employing someone to run a women's refuge, female waxing, religious school teacher etc

Discrimination on the basis of race is racism, but also a legitimate risk mitigation based on industry warnings and perhaps personal experience. It is probably more legitimate to refuse based on your assessment of the client's English skills, the way they talk (disrespectfully) expected "size" or not respecting your choose to say "no".

As most sex work is a private and intimate arrangement, I don't see how anyone could be upset if you refuse anyone.
