No sex for 3 months! How will I cope?

I am currently not allowed (doctors orders) to have Penis in Vagina sex for the next 3 months (6 weeks remaining in my pregnancy, and then 6 weeks after)
Even orgasming is a bit of a no-no, as it can trigger early labour.

While my patient Hubbie is pretty content with a BJ or two a day, Im going crazy!
Has anyone else had a long period of abstinence, and how did you cope?
(Long runs and cold showers arent an option :nono:)

The price of life can be high. I admire you and your hubby to be willing to obey the doctor's orders. I am sure when the new baby arrives it will be have been worth all the time without the pleasures of the flesh.

I went 8 weeks with only 1 visit to a working lady during that time (thanks again girl99 :P) while my wife was interstate. I was going crazy. I guess you do get through it though. There just has to be another interest that you can throw all your energy into. Who knows, it might be rewarding enough that the time flys by!!

Oh and I'm sure there are a guy or two who wouldn't be dissapointed in a few tastful pics of a hot glowing pregnent lady... nudge nudge wink wink... :P
 
Well Celeste we have 3 and glad of it,however babies do cost money
and outer things
 
I worked in the middle east for a few years on 12-16 week swings. Obviously there are no women folk to enjoy the company of so sex is basically out....unless you want to have a solo effort....which i generally didnt.

Its mind over matter. You need to find something else to do.
In downtime instead of thinking about sex...i used to search the internet for stupid stuff.....like the bore and stroke sizes of a new porsche GT3....or the estimated amounts (in tonnes) of rock that made up the great wall of china.
If those things get you horny....then you have a sex addiction. LOL
 
well 3 months shouldnt be that bad.. i ve been without sex for 1 half years now! no girl friend and no money to spend for a working lady!:(
 
Went for over a year without any of it at all. Hard at the start by the end till i broke it no probs at all i became so productive. I started as part of my martial arts training and just kept going as I wasnt in a relationship and i wanted to test my disapline.
 
i have gone without for 21 years ahaha... never found anyone to get down and dirty with and dont really want to have to pay someone for my first time.

The gift of life is a wonderful thing and I do admire and respect you sexy-celeste for your committment to this major event in your life.

I myself have pracatised abstinence for a number of years now and yes, it was VERY hard to do in the early stages, and several times I found myself giving in to the temptation, but how i maniged eventually was to focus on something in which I really believed and made that my highest priority, when I did this I found it much easier to reform.

I think that you may be actually doing this, by focusing on the coming birth of your child and placing that above your own desires. I know this is not an easy thing to do, but I do admire you for accepting your doctors advise and sticking with it.

I am sure that the reward will be worth all the effort.

In exchange for a healthy baby, and safe birth? (perhaps over-exaggerating the situation lols) ...I think it's worth it to keep the leg's closed. You can do it!!
 
I actually received some great news today. The can only cook for another 2 weeks, then they want to induce me, so its SEX CITY to try and hurry things up naturally.
But then afterwards no sex for awhile.
I think I can live with that lol
 
I haven't had sex for 5 years it was hard at first then it passed but now I look, think & dream sex all the time, I am starting to go nuts lol :icon_boun
