I did google street view and yes you are right, loved doing the walks around the basins of lake burley griffin in the middle of winter, had to miss November because of pesky magpies.. LOL. its a good spot to live/work, a places I miss :

something odd about going to an Industrial/red light area on a weekend for coffee/pies/lunches.....

Oh my god - you can not go wrong with Elaine's... Been a while since I've been there for a good pie, but its definitely a Canberra staple. Might have to make a trip out to Fyshwick this weekend now haha
 
Orrrrr... You could fly yourself out here, and come in and see some of Canberra's hottest ladies over here at Langtrees VIP Canberra while you're in town ;) 😂

Hmmmm Where is your festive spirit? 🤣 🤣 🤣 I would do,but I have always wanted to sleep in the Chanel room there... LOLl maybe we could go get pies and come back and eat them there.. LOL
