New energy storage system uses a rock-filled train on a hill.

The ARES (Advanced Rail Energy Storage) system uses a rock and concrete filled railcar to store renewable energy, later feeding it back in to the grid when demands requires.
At times that energy generation exceeds demand, the electric motors in the railcar drag it up a 2,000 foot hill. When the energy is required again, the system rolls down the hill again, using regenerative braking to recover the energy and turn it back to electricity.
The $55 million system already has a pilot project underway in California, with a larger project planned for Nevada.

Interesting, but how can we apply this on this site? Perhaps the young fella can rise when we have the energy, and come back down again when we dont

Does it really work AndyRew or are all those fans in the background just blowing it along
Maybe it should be on your conspiracy theories thread ?

Well it's not a good theory of its not well put together and researched And plenty of "Proof" to make it believable
Otherwise it would be a conspiracy hypothesis
