To me, Mothers Day, like other celebratory days is a massive social and commercial wank. Nonetheless, I guess the masses have to be taught and reminded there are significant people and occasions in our lives where we must remember and appreciate things. Saw this article in today's rag and probably doesn't apply to most except families with young ones. Good laugh though. Secondly, if anyone's feeling ambitious, you could make this for your mum... or get her to lick the bowl at least.
