Sinsations a well known strip night club is closed until July for extensive renovations. The club is below Langtrees of Canberra, and the last two weeks they have been busy demolishing the entire club, and plan on starting renovations just after Easter.
I have seen the plans and the concept drawings and am excited that the two best clubs in Canberra will be neighbours.

While we are waiting tell us about your favourite night at Sinsations over the years, there must be many stories to tell.
 
i had so many great nights at sinnies in the early 2000 when my mates and i would go alot, ... one time i actually picked up a stripper which was fun (strippers can be great to date as alot are bi) . so many great bucks nights there - too many to mention. it will great to see it reopen - is it the same owners or new ones?
 
I asked a strip club owner once what strippers were like in bed. He said if they dance hot, they fu..k hot, if they dance stitled they fu..k stitled.

Totally agree Mark, its gonna be soooo cool. Cant wait to see it open. No more men in their sweaty t-shirts and shorts working on the building, oh hold up, its gonna be woman in sweating in shorts and t-shirts lol

Love the name..........Wanderlust........a very German concept.........

The English loanword "wanderlust" was already extant in the German language dating as far back as Middle High German. The first documented use of the term in English occurred in 1902 as a reflection of what was then seen as a characteristically German predilection for wandering that may be traced back to German Romanticism and the German system of apprenticeship (the journeyman), as well as the adolescent custom of the 'Wanderbird' seeking unity with Nature.

The term originates from the German words wandern (to hike) and Lust (desire). The term wandern, frequently misused as a false friend, does in fact not mean "to wander", but "to hike." Placing the two words together, translated: "enjoyment of hiking", although it is commonly described as an enjoyment of strolling, roaming about or wandering.

In modern German, the use of the word Wanderlust to mean "desire to travel" is less common, having been replaced by Fernweh (lit. "farsickness"), coined as an antonym to Heimweh ("homesickness").
 
I am looking forward to Wanderlust opening as it has been forecast to increase business at the Langtrees VIP lounge which will be fantastic for us all. Further, it will help our current & future clients remain more anonymous with more cars filling the spaces.
Aaron and I had a quick peek through an open door today and there has been a lot of work completed. I saw the owner a couple of weeks ago and she is keen to get things moving and open as soon as possible.

I cant wait to see it open as well. I wonder if the horny men downstairs will come up and see me. I think they should see my dancing in the bedroom :P

Yes it opened 2 weeks ago a soft opening with the grand opening this week. Aaron will have to tell you what it is like.

I had the chance to go and check out Wonder lust a few weekends ago. It wasn't overly busy while i was there but The place looks really good. They have a sports bar at the front with tap beer. The bar area looks really nice.
when you walk thru the stage area it's quite large they have another bar with booth seats, and seats around the stage. i had a look at the private dance area and its really sexy. It was my first real experience at a strip club :)
