At long last, I paid my first visit to Langtrees of Canberra yesterday and was not disappointed. Once you get past the drab exterior and ascend the sparkly stairway to heaven, you enter a different world, unlike your typical Fyshwick establishment.
The lounge is spacious and inviting and tastefully furnished in keeping with the classic bordello / gentlemen's club theme. The rooms are well-appointed and come with modern showers (with a ledge for two to sit on if that's your thing), mood lighting and ceiling to floor mirrors. Obviously, I didn't have the opportunity to test every bed but the one I found myself on was very comfortable indeed -- and very easy to drift off on if you're not careful!
And, of course, the people are friendly and welcoming, without which the rest wouldn't matter. I'm already looking forward to my next visit... perhaps for my birthday
