I was under strict orders, by Mary-Anne, to take photos and share them with our Forum members.

Oh Darwin is only 20 years behind the rest of the country.Nice sunset, but no david jones or myers, Phoebe;s wont be coming there soon...
That we did. The Croc Salad was delicious and NT had a Yiros which, of course, I sampled and that was yummy tooWelcome to our wonderful markets, hope you enjoyed the amazing food on offer :-D
I guess that depends on who you are. I live in Perth country, and I hate the shopping centres. Give me a dirt bike, the bush, camp fires, bbqs, my swag, kayaking, hikes, swimming in lakes and rivers and good friends over the hustle and bustle any time. How can women live there without a David Jones, or even a Myers? really come one where does one buy nice heels, lingerie and clothing and makeup/cosmetics and perfume.......

Though I occasionly dress up for a night in town, though 2 or 3 times a year is more than enough to remind me why I love my laid back lifestyle.![]()
Sounds like a nightmare to meMy ideal of slumming it is a 3 star motel.... anything where by I may potentially break a nail well is no go for me.... seriously how does one live without modern day things... really.... LOL

By the time you get back up that view would have changed but watching the storms roll in is amazing as well! It's about the only time we have waves!I'm missing that view. And all you girls too xo Not long and I'm there for a couple of years.
Well the markets are over for the year. it's sort of the queue that the wet season will start soon (once we get through the build up) but in saying that we still have the Nightcliff, Coolalinga and Parap markets they run pretty much all year round (unless they get rained out) so there is still plenty of things to see and do up here for the rest of the year!Yes.. Jay & I went tonight & it was a great experience and i'm really happy i got to go before they close up for the wet season. We arrived around 6pm & had time to check out all the different food stalls & decide what to eat. I went for spicy paw paw salad & chicken noodle soup Jay went for the more traditional style nachos & pizza, both of which were very good using fresh ingredients. Yummy!
It was so nice to watch the sunset over the ocean as you don't get that in Sydney, after that we wondered around the stalls & i got a few bits. A must do in Darwin if you get the chance.
