Probably is a bad idea, even I’m just a stressed out mess at the school run... ‘we’re late! Hurry up!’ ‘Put your lunch order in the basket’ ‘line up, is that tooth paste on your shirt FFS’ ‘where’s my other kid???’ .... all bare faced, un-made up, messy bun....

.... But I still see those Dad’s wandering eye.... 😉

I'm not sure Georgia meant bang them in the car? While driving? But there are some logistical problems for the school pick up - its with cars full of kids for one. Drop off would be more logical, and with junior primary there's more hanging around classrooms and opportunity for chats - there's good cred for apparently sensitive new-age dads. Then again its complicated and gossip prone. Yvette help us out and give more details!

I say this with the utmost affection .... you guys are idiots lol albeit funny idiots :)

.... but if you really want to know the best way to connect with the mums at your school - it’s the kids birthday parties. There is one every 5 minutes feels like. It’s boring as bat-sh*t and can be awkward. But you have 2-3 whole hours to work your magic and there is even CAKE 😂

Well definitely wholesome ones Yvette, with glutes not without them. Do adventure parks have ghost trains - a 4 minute ride would be just about enough time for an adventure. Actually 4 minutes is more of a 'longie' than a 'quicky' these days so it should be perfect :cool:

I think kids behave a lot more civilised than the adults at birthday parties. Dad’s trying to out-do each other with tall stories. It’s like the one-up-manship championship in some instance. You are right its boring as bat-sh*t but it’s got it’s moments.

A zoo lots of mums take there kids , Kmart, shopping centres, walking in kings park, excerise parks, ice cream shop, cafe, bounce, activity centre
