Thought I would add my two bob as Happy Pirate is holding a variety of reviews.
The Kent Town hotel has a "Jungle Room" they use for dinners. Large, but noisy on the ground floor, they offer a good selection of food at only mildly elevated prices. A small games area is available for children to stay entertained, as well as a multistory slide that sits central to the dining area. All about, a clever set of 'rainforest' decor provides a unique setting.
Food caters to carnivore, omnivore, and vegetarian tastes, and is prepared very well, with a marring that the waiting staff will also be as hard to hear as you- refer to my aforementioned 'noisy' point.
Their specialty is a carnist one - a large portion of meat not dissimilar to a well-prepared portion of yiros rotisserie is skewered and served up to the center of a table, where the server then slices portions off on demand to suit your hunger. Oddly, this requires a whole-table commitment to keep servers focused on those who have paid for such, instead of an obvious decision to offer a simple marker or plate for those who order.
Under cover parking available, bookings essential.
Rating: 7/10. Improving noise baffle would go a long way to helping, as it was the primary reason for missed orders, mistakes in orders, and difficulty with conversation.
