Years ago I knew a gentleman who swore by seeing a WL before placing his bet on the big race. He said it brought him luck and when he didn't one year he won no money.
Do you have any special things you do for the big race?
 
Not really But your said gent who see's a W/L prior may be on to something

As far as horse racing goes, go for number 13,
 
Funny you say that. I always bet on number 13 for everything, races, roulette etc. Mind you I haven't had a big win in years...perhaps NT and I should see a WL before I place a bet,,,,food for thought.
I might take out the Trifecta lol

Every one wins when I punt on the ladies. Colzilla Junior is happy. She's happy and the man/woman at the shoe, dress or bling-bling store is happy.
 
Ahhhhhh my challenge for the Cup day is to pick up a friend from the airport and try to organise my job and her presence for the next.........I don't know.....2 or 3 weeks........wish me luck o_O

As for the horses....never understood why 2 min of horse racing can stop a nation........but that might be just the European in me ;)

Well one belief i stuck by is, not to have a pony tail stuck in yer bum prancing around the night before. Though it's fun but you walk funny the next day, not a good look...

Exactly.........French government did discuss to cut the weekly working hours while the German Parliament discussed at the same time the future fact that Germans might have to retire in their early seventies.......guess figure........
