So one of my lovely gentlemen friends told me about " May Day "
NT Public holiday on the 2nd May to welcome the beginning of dry season!

Looking forward to my first dry season in Darwin!!

It actually celebrates the 8 hour working day and workers contributions to our economy also known as labour day. Personally id rather work the first monday in may than pay tax, but hey thats how it is

I do like May day as it's suppose to be the first day of dry season and a public holiday to have a picnic
