Massage shops in Westfield and other shopping centers

Has anyone had anything other than a normal massage is a shop within a large shopping center such as Westfield Whitfords?

There's several of them in there now, some being more open to the precinct than others. I never see anyone going in or out of any of them, so wonder if they're actually offering massage services or are actually a front for drug money etc.

Many shops in these big shopping centers don't survive, saying the rents are too high, yet the massage shops stay there for years with very few customers.

Wow. That's a big call. Personally know the owner of one of these shops and she is a successful thai business woman. The shop is always busy and is doing extremely well offering massage only, no extra services. Not sure what the point is of making wild assumptions about legitimate businesses.

Oh it happens. Sometimes these stories are impressive. Sometimes they are very engaging to listen to. Sometimes they are tragic as it leads an innocent worker into years or decades of a life they may not have encountered.

Someone very dear to me went from a NORMAL masseuse to right now the peak of private work in a way where life is spiraling out of control.

The current temporary tragedy is not the money and success. It is the shattered internal compass in most facets that has severely misaligned.

But everything unfolds as it is predestined to unfold.

You're assuming they're legitimate. You don't know they aren't money laundering syndicates. Because one is legit doesn't mean they're all legit. I've also noticed some of them have no customer's but are there for long time.

Just ask. Though in a shopping centre you are more than likely getting told no if asking at the counter. Better to at least try the massage then ask when you are told to flip.

I assume you're assuming ? Or do you actually sit there and watch their door all day ?
IMO there are likely enough paying clients to make a profit that the owner is happy with. I also know a little about a couple of shops ( nope, I am not their accountant ) and they are doing really very well TY very much.
The math is .. 4 - 8 ladies all pulling in ~$50-70+/hour (for the shop) 4 - 8 times a day soon adds up $1000 - $5000 a day. Many operate 7 days a week .. $30K x 50 = 1M+
