As you can see from my profile my name is Anita I am 39 and have a stable Reception Job at Langtrees VIP Perth. I have 2 Children a girl and a boy who are 16 and 13 I have them on a 5 days on 5 days off 4 days on 4 days off rotation with my ex husband they are both very well behaved and both attend school. I have great Rental references and am very house proud. I am struggling to find a place on the common rental market because I work at the time of most home viewings (between 3pm and 6pm weekdays and afternoons sat and sun). Ideally I would like a 3x1 home im not to fussed about the area as my children are old enough to get themselves to and from school. Please feel free to hit me up I am at the moment paying $200 a day to live in a 2 bedroom appartment which just is not ideal. Please if you can help I would be forever Grateful thanks guys xx

I hope Anita finds somewhere soon as she sounds a lovely lady and paying $200 a night like she is currently doing is certainly expensive. The post made me wonder though if ladies working in the industry generally find renting a property difficult? I mean do some agents/landlords have a stigma towards ladies working in the industry? Hopefully there isn't any prejudice,

You know I did wonder because the few viewings I have been able to make I have gone to in my uniform and I wasnt sure but I'm pretty upfront and I find honesty is always the best policy and ppl repect you for that.
 
When it was a Renters market, my landlord knew exactly what I did, and as I had a child, he said as long as I was doing nothing illegal from his home and his Rent was paid, he didn't have a problem with what I did. It was real estate managed as well, so the real estate even knew.
My current property is real estate managed as well but put my occupation under entertainment with ABN. It's a landlords market at the moment.
 
Sorry I still have a child Lol! which is why I don't do privates anymore unless interstate travels or to go to to close sowns out of Perth. Not only do I feel safer, working at Langtrees, but I found it was too expensive to rent two places, even with other girls. Got too much and clients high on whatever just got too scary for me personally. You feel very vulnerable when youre on your own. Country bumpkins out of Perth are usually okay! I usually get the same people all the time and I know them quite well now so I'm quite comfy.
