Good morning all, me again!

As said before just arrived from over East, I will be staying for a while and wanted to know what is legal here? It is called the Wild West lol so before I start I wanted too make sure I'm not going to do anything to get in trouble

I.e privates?? Houses

Massage parlours???

Cheers

Dont worry, you wont get arrested. There are a few brothels who openly advertise services and heaps of Asian Massage Places where the extras are negotiated in the room. Also many "independants" working from private residences or hotels. It is illegal here for you to have any form of sex without a condom.

If it was illegal n still running they must’ve paid of the right people or cops can’t be asked policing it’s not hard to google an escort

If you say b b b j (without spaces) here then the system will auto correct to "you are silly". As West1 mentioned any form of sex without condom.

If it’s illegal than which party is at fault n how do they police it? How would a cop know if ya used a rubber or not?

Can't have a brothel in a suburban area and can't solicit in public. So police might come knocking at these private houses as these private houses are a brothel in a suburban area.

Offer an undercover Police or Police informant unprotected sex? They might need a recording of the dialogue to successfully charge them. In my opinion "why would they lie" isn't an appropriate defense.

Offering it in writing is clearly breaking the law, as is asking for it and getting an agreement that it will be provided. Police are too busy for this though and would only charge you if something else is involved like drugs or illegal immigrants.

There goes half of East Perth.

Unless that's other illegal activity going on, WAPOL aren't visibly policing private escorts or brothels that aren't causing issues.

my understanding is its only illegal if premises are being used for multiple WL, and even then i think its only really if there is someone running it, not individual ladies doing there own thing. So a private house with only one person is fine, more than one is "illegal". things like massage parlours probably sit in a grey area because as someone already said, they only "offer" massage services. what happens in the room is a different situation, which is why AMPs will never explicitly state that the ladies offer extras, its all in room.

im also pretty sure its not illegal to engage in any of these services, so youd be fine.

not 100% tho, i looked this up a while ago so could be vaguely inaccurate. but yeah cops tend to look the other way unless they have pretty strong suspicions of other illegal activities like trafficking or drugs etc.

U can refer to the Prostitution Act 2000 - https://www.legislation.wa.gov.au/legislation/prod/filestore.nsf/FileURL/mrdoc_25225.pdf/$FILE/Prostitution Act 2000 - [02-a0-06].pdf?OpenElement

Part 8 is the part about protection.
8. Prophylactic to be used
It is an offence for a person to engage in an act of prostitution
without using a prophylactic that is appropriate for preventing
the transmission of bodily fluid from one person to another.
Penalty: $5 000.

Street walkers are illegal under Part 5.
Its up to the police if they police it or not.

As I suggested

This is the same over East only 1 lady can work in a private house more than one then illegal, also if a brothel need to have a registration number.
