My dad is Greek, My mum is Macedonian. Dad speaks both languages mum only speaks Macedonian and thats the language I most understand, thats the truth I love Greece as my dad loves the country that educated dad and he served in the army during a military cu he drove a tank lol. He come over here at 22 and not long after we owned a horse named Strawberry Road his famous in the USA as well. So Anthony George when I can be bothered changing it cause i'm sick of explaining to people y I cant speak Greek.
 
These days a surname does not mean as much as we have become a great big melting pot.
There is even a song about it. :)
 
At least with surnames you can often get a feel for the background of that person But with the modern trend of making up fanciful first names You have absolutely no idea Except maybe what the mental state of mum and dad was at the time

umm just go do six months of language classes go on holiday to the greek islands.
 
Thanks for sticking up for me, The reason I said that is because im way more Queanbeyan/Canberra anything else I speak a word of greek just so you guys get an idea. I lie I can say maybe 5 words all up. I can understand some macedonian

I am totally confused by this post......
But I have been to Greece & it is an amazing place to visit & food is great & people are happy...:p:p:p
 
P/S also they are given a choice by their government as to whether they want to pay their taxes!!!

Perhaps that's why their country is a wee bit pooooor these days!
 
Its confused me all my life it was nothing but politics I try to avoid conflicts I can be Laughing but someone told the more the laughter the closer to tears you come. I want love massive ask and thats y i am still single I wont settle for anything less thats me, I know what true I do know what is its a battle looking for something so many have lost.
 
Im Back in Sydney got an old duck that has crossed the line to many times. She came here from Melburne. The girls are just trying to work and she premits there breaking. I know some of the girls come from racing I just wanted a little more information on what happened to them and how?
