Taslyns story about McDonalds and some of the replies got me thinking...
Since the ladies want to be treated as equal and we are trying to stop sexist behaviour, is it fair that they still have what they call a ladies night.

For those that are not sure it is where a lady is allowed to enter a club or something similar venue for free. They may even get the first couple drinks free as well.

At what point do you stop calling a lady a lady and a man a man? At what point should we all be treated as equal?

In fairness ladys nights are promtions by establishments to try and get the patronage from the few women that go out rather than a female driven thing.
weve all been to the sausage fest....
you get into the place and theres more snag than a bbq.
a bouncer told me if he works VERY hard at knocking back single men (clothes shoes too drunk etc) he can get the ratio if women up to 30%

Isn't that still sexist though?

maybe but its not female driven
its profit driven
once a place gets known as a sausage fest guys wont want to go and the ones that do and the place resembles a gay bar will just end up fighting out of frustration
