Ladies Hair - Straight or Wavy? Do you as a punter have a preference?

This is mainly a query for the men, but others can join in if they feel they have something to add.

For the last couple of years, the trend in ladies hairstyles has been to have very straight hair, in New Zealand anyway. So, subsequently, I have spent over the last couple of years, a lot of time straightening my hair. It is starting to wear thin, to be honest, and I was wondering if punters think that straightened hair on a lady looks better than loose waves or curls. I almost feel that a wavy, kind of "I've just been shagged look" may be more appealing.

So, punters, what is your preference - straightened or not?

For me; anything but the "bob"! I'm not the biggest fan of the "reverse mullet" either but that trend has died down quite a bit thank goodness :)
Straight or wavy: don't mind.
 
My preference is for that wavy, tussled or "just shagged" look. Curly hair is ok too however it tends not to work on some people (just my opinion)..... :) ....am not a big fan of straight hair it's boring and doesn't really emphasise character, personality etc.

Long & straight IMHO, but there are some ladies who could make bald look sexy.
 
Personally i do staighten my hair alot but i prefer the wavy just shagged look the best as it looks natural AND sexy
 
I used to straighten my hair but got tired of it because it needed to be re-done after every shower. I stick to my 'natural' look now when in-house.....lol.....far closer to the shagged look.........and keep the straightening for special occasions........like a dinner date with Tony Abbott:iamwithst (YUCKKKKKKKK just kidding!!!!!!!)

i prefer brunette's with big wavy long hair like an italian girl would have
 
I have long blonde hair straight but because its long I can do many things with it curl etc. Despite the colour i guess man have their own preference but long hair is great so many different look can be made
 
My preference is long wavy black hair wich most of man like it My hair is long and black but is not curly wich i would like to have so i have to curl my hair every time i wash it and is a pain in the neck

I'm not your target audience I know, but I do have the M gene, so I would love to answer your question. Personally, I think the question is difficult to answer accurately because so many people would have different personal tastes, but for what it's worth, I personally love straightened hair. Having said this though, I also love many old classic formal hair styles. I think some of them look hot, but they can require a great deal of time.
 
I would like to add another 'piece' to the straight hair or not straight hair question.
Obviously it is all about long hair and men seem to be turned on more by long hair than by short hair. OK guys is that correct or just my assumption? Do you prefer long over short? Is long hair more sexy looking?
I wonder sometimes why because there are very sexy looking girls out there with short hair.

Well, my all-time favourite is the typically Asian long, straight and blue/black look but there are so many sexy options that I would never reject a girl because of her haiordo.

Thinking about my Xotica favourites;

Jenna - very long straight brown hair on a petite but perfectly formed figure.

Elektra - long curly and very thick blonde hair.

Mystique - Typically Asian long black hair.

Phoebe - short cropped blonde 'do but with her elfin face it works just fine.

I think the best look is what suits that girl but, above all, it is what is under the hair that matters. If she is a friendly and sexy minx then the hair is just decoration.

This is a fashion issue that is really locked into current fashions trends. Check out old "Girly Magazines" from the 60's & 70's and look at the hair styles. LOL You will see what I mean.
I am really over the Streaky Blonde thing though <GET RID OF IT>

It really depends on the whole appearance of the W/L. Her style, clothing, (or lack of it) make up etc.
