Kiwi Paraplegic.

Been disabled since Nov 06 and the lady I was engaged to decided being with a paraplegic was not a good plan. Well I'm by myself now and using my hand(s) just does not do it for me anymore as I cant feel a thing between my legs. Been with a woman once since the accident and I know the potential is there for good sex. Just can't do it by myself and although ACC will pay for me to see a working girl, Id rather wait for a woman who wants to be with me, instead of just being paid to be. Maybe that sounds silly to you, but it does not to me.

Sometimes I feel like I'm loosing the plot, until someone tells me its "normal" to feel like I do. I guess its the mental health training and the nursing training thats getting the better of me. Sometimes being ones own psych nurse is a real pain in the arse, other times its all good.:iamwithst

Have a lady friend to spend my time with now and are no longer looking for someone. Cheers.
