Kalgoorlie Names on the Door

Doing a quick trip to Kalgoorlie and was curious by these names on the doors.

I’m guessing they were named after working girl’s at the time?

Kalgoorlie lost its mojo years ago...... never will it ever return.. They call this progress, no wonder why loads of people take valium daily for a kick...

About 2 years ago. For about 4 days. I stay near the BP near The Old Langtrees. Best thing in town is the gold vault, The Irish Pub serves great food. but its lost its mojo. There is a massive Dome Cafe there.

Its really sad when old things that were once great become weathered and lose there appeal .. fingers crossed it rejuvenates itself :)

Its nice drive, do the discovery pipeline tour.. which is about 950K I think... Stop off at the Ettamogah pub along the way.

I was last there around June 2017 and, yep, the place ain't what it once was. Empty boarded up shops and a generally run-down vibe. Pity about the skimpies but that is happening everywhere else too - how many pub strip shows or skimpies are left in Perth these days?

Yep when people went out and talked face to face.. NOT on Facetime... When the entertainment was in the bar NOT on a phones screen... And when PC meant Police Constable. NOT what it does today... BUT hey people built the pub at home and now don't even go out anymore as we now have Uber eats... and we call it social media..... LOL irony at its finest!
